My family and I stayed there for a short staycation on a weekend. Our main purpose was to hit the swimming pool, sauna, and steam bath. Wife wanted to visit the spa too.
The checkin was smooth, the girl there was courteous and friendly, so was the guy present there. They didn’t offer to take our luggage to the room nor did anyone guide us to the room.
Considering the age of the property, the hallways and rooms are decently maintained, however, it’s due for renovation. Bath tub’s drain plug was missing, so was the cover of the plug hole of the washroom.
Air conditioning was good. The windows are blacked out that’s a big turn off. Room service and housekeeping were good and fast.
It was very frustrating that the front office doesn’t even know if their pool is warm or not. They said it’s a warm pool when we asked them on two different occasions, turned out it’s not. They didn’t offer pool towels. The reception failed to tell us about it which is so unprofessional. Steam bath appeared to be nonfunctional for ages.
Their food is okay, considering the exorbitant rates at which the hotels are sold in the city, there is a big room for them to improve the food. Taken the scenario into account, I’d say the food is below par.

Read moreRooms: I'm a bit disappointed as I reserved and paid for a king-size bed. Also, I reserved for a non-smoking room, but they said it's already given to different guests. So, we ended into a 2 twin size bed and a hallway where you can smell cigarette odor.
Service: I don't have any concern about this part as I didn't deal with the room service, but I can say on the reception they're very accommodating. I'm not expecting saudi locals to be at the front desk. The manager of the hotel, Madam Rola, if I'm not mistaken with the name. She knows how to deal with the guest, professional, and very polite.
Location: very easy to find it it's just along the main road of King Saud road. They have parking space at the front of the hotel.
Cons : If you don't like the smell of cigarettes, this is not the hotel for you. because you can smell the cigarettes along the hotel corridors. And for breakfast, don't expect what you can see online.
Pros: Clean bedroom, reasonable price, accessible, accommodating staffs. comfy bedding. Costa coffee along the...
Read moreAffordable and practical place to stay in this part of Riyadh, this Hotel offers good value for the money. The location is convenient for business travelers who need to be in the area, and the staff are fast and problem-solving oriented—perhaps a testament to their commitment to guest satisfaction.
The hotel does show its age, particularly in the rooms where the furniture and carpets have seen better days. However, the lobby and common areas are well-preserved, providing a welcoming atmosphere upon arrival.
A word of caution: the spa and basement pool might not meet everyone's expectations. During my visit, I noticed an unpleasant odor that detracted from the experience. It might be best to avoid these facilities until improvements are made.
CcOn the brighter side, the breakfast is satisfying, and the overall services are adequate for a business stay. If you focus on the essentials and plan to spend most of your time out and about, Riyadh Mena Hotel Nasiriah can be a suitable choice. Just perhaps give the basement amenities a...
