Hotel Ami Bamba — Hotel in Saly Portudal

This hotel is terrible. I had a reservation at the SoSuite hotel, a block away from the Amybamba. Upon checking in at the SoSuite I was promptly transported to the Amybamba. I paid the nightly rate for starting at the SoSuite, which is far above the cost at the Amybamba The accommodations at the Amybamba are far below the standard for human habitation. There is no running water, the electricity is intermittent and all of the locks on the doors have evidence of forced entry into the rooms. When attempting to depart the hotel, the owner of the hotel and the family that lives on the first floor, physically prevented me from leaving the premises. They accused me of not paying for the stay and attempted to extort $120 USD to allow me to leave. We had a conversation about paying at the SoSuite and they would have to discuss their payment with them. This entire interaction took approximately 1.5 hours and caused me to pay additional charges for my taxi to stand by while the situation was resolved. Overall, the Amybamba is a bait and switch while furthering being an absolutely incompetent establishment.

J'ai payé le tarif par nuit pour commencer à la SoSuite, ce qui est bien au-dessus du coût à l'Amybamba Les logements à l'Amybamba sont bien en dessous de la norme pour l'habitation humaine. Il n'y a pas d'eau courante, l'électricité est intermittente et toutes les serrures des portes ont des traces d'entrée forcée dans les chambres. Lorsque j'ai tenté de quitter l'hôtel, le propriétaire de l'hôtel et la famille qui vit au premier étage m'ont physiquement empêché de quitter les lieux. Ils m'ont accusé de ne pas avoir payé le séjour et ont tenté d'extorquer 120 USD pour me permettre de partir. Nous avons eu une conversation sur le paiement à la SoSuite et ils devraient discuter de leur paiement avec eux. Toute cette interaction a duré environ 1,5 heure et m'a amené à payer des frais supplémentaires pour que mon taxi soit en attente pendant que la situation était résolue. Dans l'ensemble, l'Amybamba est un appât et un interrupteur tout en étant un établissement absolument...
