I wanted to share the horrible experience that I and my wife had with Kovilje Wellness Center in Banja Koviljaca. Last month we were visiting Europe as a celebration of our 30th marriage anniversary and one of our stops was Kovilje Wellness Center in Banja Koviljaca, Serbia. I had arranged full treatments for both myself and more importantly my wife! She was really looking forward to this and I love doing extravagant things for her.
When we arrived at the reception area, they advised me that there was no reservation for neither of us. When I explained the situation and told them this was going to be for a week, the lady there called her superior and let me talk to her. Once her superior came, she advised me that there was a change in staff and the lady who booked the appointment got fired. Later I would find that this wellness center is a privately owned slave shop, if you will. They hire young women and men abusing them and then firing them at any time they please. People work for peanuts and they charge tourists like us big bucks.
Anyways, going back to my story. The superior got us in the wellness center and we began the treatments. On the very first day, they burnt my wife's face. I hurt myself while in the pool and the guy who did the massage made it even worse. I was in pain. We wanted our money back and of course because we were foreigners, they gave us a very hard time. We were persistent, so they advised us that they were going to refund the money tomorrow and this tomorrow never came. For a week they kept lying to us and we finally had to go!
I am leaving this review for all travelers and visitors to beware and stay away from Kovilje Wellness Center and their fraud schemes they present in their...
Read moreKovilje Wellness Center is not a Wellness Center at all, but rather a stress centre and a disaster! They have so much false marketing and they do not take any responsibility for anything they do.
What is most important there is that the employees come and get their pay!
The rest of the healing facility is ok though. My recommendations are not to use the Wellness Center at all, but just use the main facility for any medical healings! If you choose the Wellness Center, you will be disappointed...

They provide a bath rope, a towel, a pair of sterilized slippers and a lemonade. Historical building. Located next to rehabilitation hospital, so you will meet some of it’s clients at the pool. Swimming hours for outsiders are currently limited: you can use the pool from 12 to 14 and from 17 to 19. Had a very relaxing time there. Next time we will book...
