Boutique Hotel Arta — Hotel in City of Novi Sad

We chose the hotel through one of booking sites, taking into account that it was well rated there. And we were really unkindly surprised. But lets start positively. The main advantage of the hotel is a parking in the yard and also the receptionist tried to be helpful. But this is the end of of the account of its advantages. ||The hotel is niether in nor anywhere close to the city centre. So, if you want to walk there, be prepared for a relatively long trip. ||As for the rooms, the hotel is really filthy - carpets unwashed for ages, the same for cushioning of armchairs and the sofa, towels grey and hard, bathroom doors impossible to be closed, and the room soaked with cigarette smoke. TV guide promissing hundreds of international TV channels but the TV actually offers only local ones. ||Breakfast choice limited, but when we asked yoghurt, the receprionist just go to the shop and bought it, so we could have it in the end. ||Anyway, since we have probably neved stayed in a worse place, we will not come back again and do not recommend it to...

There are two different wings at this hotel. The new wing is not bad — it was renovated relatively tastefully and has a contemporary feel. Not upscale, but not downscale either. However, I was initially placed in the old wing, which was smelly and very worn around the edges and not something that I would recommend anybody with high travel standards—It felt like something for budget-driven eastern European travelers.||Also be noted that the location is pretty far from the city center. Some reviews noted that this is in a charming residential neighborhood. There’s nothing charming about the neighborhood. There’s an ugly construction site across the street and the homes in the area or not particularly well-maintained. The area has a cheap and depressing vibe.||If you have a specific reason to be in this particular location and can be put in the new wing, it’s not a bad place.
