In this lush and quiet valley where time stands still and the sun melts into the ocean, Seaboards Apartments is a gem embodying the true essence of the Seychelles. We came across this place by chance and it felt like we discovered the hidden treasure of the island.

Bertrand’s service is above and beyond anything you can possibly imagine and it is precisely these kinds of experiences you wish for when you are traveling. He is incredibly kind and thoughtful and words cannot describe how much he truly goes out of his way to make sure you have the best experience possible. He gave us fantastic recommendations, organised a cooking class and dinner for us right in the apartment and as we were travelling without a car, whenever he could he offered to drop us off wherever we were going that day!

Bertrand’s brother is a fantastic chef and we had some of the best food of the island during our stay here. Fresh fish, octopus curry, you name it! He taught us how to make all of it in our cooking class the next day and sent us home with a giant bag of spices so we could make it at home. Truly a highlight of our trip.

The location of this spot is truly underrated and we absolutely adored the laid back, local charm we found in Anse La Mouche. Not only are you very close by to two of the best beaches in Mahe, but the sunsets over Anse La Mouche are like no other with everyone from the area gathering on the beach to see the explosion of colours that appears each evening. Forget resorts, this is the real Seychelles experience.

With beautiful views overlooking the lush mountains and the pool, perfect for a refreshing dip after you’ve finished adventuring for the day, we immediately fell in love with this tropical paradise. Seaboards Apartments was like the home away from home we were searching for to finish our trip and we hold this experience very close to our heart.

We have only the very best to say about our stay at the family-run establishment Seaboards Apartments which is ideal for couples and small families. The clean, spacious apartments and their environment, the garden and the new pool are everything you could ask for. When it comes to your wellbeing and possibilities to experience the islands, the proprietor Bertrand will do anything in his might to comply with your wishes. The personal touch added by him and his staff made our stay enjoyable in a way we have not experienced elsewhere.

The always pleasant Bertrand’s helpfulness regarding contacts with restaurants, taxi services etc. seems to know no limits. He will do practically anything to facilitate your wishes.

We were generously allowed immediate access to our lodgings despite our very early morning arrival as well as the possibility to stay much longer than usual on our day of departure. We find this generosity and thoughtfulness quite characteristic of Bertrand and his friendly and helpful staff.

When we expressed a slight disliking with the local restaurant, Bertrand immediately saw to it that we would be served generous, personally cooked Creole evening meals in our room during our entire stay.

We recommend everyone travelling to the Seychelles to consider the Seaboards Apartments for your stay. You will not be disappointed.

We stay at Seaboards for 5 days after a couple of weeks on Praslin as we wanted to get to the airport easily for our departure. |I wanted somewhere that was reasonable value with a pool and near the sea.||What a find!||Bertrand is just the best host. He wants to make his guests feel welcomed and comfortable. He has a great team around him who were always helpful and smiling. The place has such a lovely chilled atmosphere about it. ||The gardens are really pretty and SO beautifully kept - nothing is out of place! We were told it was down to Mohammed. He does an amazing job. ||I didn’t know when booking that they do evening meals. You pre-book them on the day. |The soft shell crab curry was utterly delicious. |I asked Bertrand whether he could do a whole fish for me and he very kindly went out and found one! It honestly was THE best I’ve|ever had. The creole sauce was divine. It was the sort of meal you only dream about! ||I wish Bertrand - and his team - all the success. I know he has plans for Seaboards and I have no doubt it will be a roaring success with him at the helm....
