My family and I (consists of a 60+ year old, 2 teenagers, a 2 years old and I'm in my 40s) had a really pleasant stay here at this resort. We booked their family room to accommodate 5 pax. To the reviewer(s) who complained about 5 people sleeping on a queen bed. Book or pay for a bigger room to accommodate your family. Enough said.
I did my research, read reviews and understood that this resort-like hotel is different from their counterparts. I even called their reservation hotline as I have some concerns/queries. I spoke to Felicia who was so friendly, polite and patient to answer and tell me more about the resort.
We arrived close to 3pm and was immediately greeted by their friendly reception and were checked in promptly. To the reviewer(s) who complained that no one carried your bags to your room, please be gracious enough to carry your own baggage to your room.
Proceeded to our room. No complains. It was clean and adequate and will serve its purpose. To the reviewer(s) who were disappointed with their room(s). Please do your research and/or get a bf who can pay more for a luxurious feel to your hotel room. To the reviewer who said Hotel XX was nicer, of course it has to be nicer, you'll be spending your whole time in the room. 🥴
My kids and I changed and went down to the swimming pool. The view was breathtaking. I really love the ambience of the pool. The pool itself was huge and with lush greenery and fauna all around. There's also a waterfall and 2 water slides. We had a great time. We did not bring towels with us and just walked back to our room and had a nice warm shower after. No issues at all.
Evening comes and we had a nice walk to the Central Beach Bazaar. Our walk was accompanied by nice music from the beach bars. There's also a beach shuttle right in front of the resort if you rather not walk.
Walked back to our room and got ready for bed. My toddler had no issues with the music thumping as it wasn't that loud despite our rooms overlooking the beach bars. To the reviewer(s) who complained about the loud music, DO YOUR RESEARCH OR DEAL WITH IT.
Morning comes, and we went down for our breakfast buffet. We were greeted by the friendly servers, staffs and the manager/ owner I think. There were crispy warm pratas with really nice vegetable curry, fragrant nasi lemak with delicious sambal, eggs, (hard boiled, scrambled, omelette), baked beans, chicken sausage, croissants, cinnamon roll pastry, toasts with butter or jam, 2 kinds of cereals, juices, chilled fruits and salad Etc. Some of the staffs were having small talks with the guests. Such a warm and friendly bunch. The atmosphere felt homely and sincere. Jian Hao in particular was a very nice chap.
Walked over to the beach just opposite the resort after that. There is a 711 just beside where we bought some toys for sandplay.
After some time, we walked back to the resort and breakfast was still serving. So we had a second round of breakfast. The owner/manager chuckled when I asked if it's ok to have breakfast again. He said, "of course, dont ask! please eat!!!!"
Went back to our room later and rest for a bit before we checked out at 1pm. (We asked for an extension and was given 1 hour) which was perfect. Check-Out was also a breeze.
I can't thank the resort enough for our...
Read moreWe arrived at Siloso Beach Resort early on Friday morning after an all-night road trip from Malaysia. Tired and eager to freshen up before our day at Universal Studios Singapore, we were warmly greeted by Susan at reception. She was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making sure we were comfortable from the moment we stepped in. Her kindness set the tone for our short but memorable vacation in Singapore. Seriously, give Susan a raise!||As an eco-resort, Siloso Beach Resort isn't your typical shiny, modern hotel – and that's the beauty of it. Built on a hillside within the lush jungle, the resort blends seamlessly into its natural surroundings. The owners made it a point to preserve the environment, so don't expect the bright, plastic-y surfaces you might find elsewhere. Our deluxe room was comfortable, clean, and spacious enough for the three of us, but the true gem of the resort is the stunning natural stream water pool on Level 5. Shaped organically and featuring a five-storey waterfall, it's unlike any pool I've ever seen.||What stood out even more was the resort’s commitment to inclusivity. I noticed several special needs individuals working at the hotel, and the way the F&B supervisor interacted with them at breakfast was heartwarming. Curious, I asked if this was part of their hiring policy. I was thrilled to learn that the founders are deeply involved in providing opportunities for youth with special needs – what an amazing initiative!||The next morning, I had the chance to speak with a gentleman I assumed was the manager, only to find out he was none other than Kelvin Ng, the CEO of the resort. He shared the fascinating history of the place, explaining how they made a conscious effort to preserve the natural environment during construction – not a single tree was cut down! The pool’s unique shape? It followed the path of an existing bike trail, again to avoid cutting any trees. Kelvin's passion for both the environment and supporting special needs children shone through in our conversation. He even gave my son an encouraging pep talk, which meant the world to us. Oh, and those amazing pastries we devoured at breakfast? Turns out, Kelvin was a pastry chef in a past life – no wonder they were so delicious!||My wife was nearly brought to tears by the resort's heartfelt dedication to their cause, and it's this mix of genuine care, eco-consciousness, and hospitality that makes Siloso Beach Resort so special.||I wholeheartedly recommend Siloso Beach Resort if you’re planning a stay in Singapore.
