Holiday Village Tatralandia — Hotel in Liptovský Mikuláš

We loved Hotel Village Tatralandia! I have booked a bungalow for our family - me, my wife and our 14 yrs daughter and 12yrs old son. We were celebrating his birthday and he was very surprised and happy on my choice :-) We stayed in the small bungalow, which was spacious enough for a family of 4. The bungalow consists of 2 rooms, bathroom and equiped with all kitchen related stuff you may need. The location is perfect, it is directly at the aquapark. Food in restaurant brilliant, breakfast that was included was fantastic, and the Aquapark was also included which we chose to have, was amazing. There was a table and a bench outside at each cabin to enjoy the outdoors. Lots of green area around for the kids to run and play. Seriously, you can just sit down and relax and the kids will be busy running around, playing. TMR hotels offer 🚠 cable cars and 🌊 water parks included in the price. There is so much more to do right there at the Tatralandia resort - there is a large water park right there, a circus, nearby is a contact zoo where you can pet baby tigers and bears, Hurricane factory where you can fly in a tunnel of strong air. This place is too polarised to rate. The accommodation is nice. Cottages are large and furnished. An electric kettle, fridge, plates, glasses, and so on are there. Even towels are there. My wife said that cleanness is awesome. The village is a quiet place with entertainment for kids every night. Lobby bar and restaurant are average but good enough for this kind of relaxation. Aquapark is 50 meters away. Awesome distance. You can park your car in the village for free. One car per cottage. I didn't like customer service. They speak only in terms of papers, penalties, and financial fines. No will to help you - just don't do this, or you will pay. Beware of mandatory 100 euro deposit in cash. You can pay everything with a card but this deposit. Save the confirmation. They said it was already returned to me even though it was not. Generally, try it. It is a lot of fun and a very good place to stay if you want to visit the aquapark for multiple days. Update 2024: Service is slowly 🐌 getting better. The new and better system is in place. Even a new gate to enter/exit the park...

I give 4 stars only for the apartments(small houses and cabins) and area. The apartment was very nice with a lot of space for a family or a group of friends. The standard was good but could need some minor upgrades and fixes. The apartment had everything you need if you don't want to go out for breakfast and supper (fridge, hotplates, waterboiler, cutlery and a microwave oven). It was nice and clean both rooms, furniture and beds.

As a sidenote the key have to be picked up at the reception by the gate. I did not have such a good experience with the reception employees (rude and unhelpfull). And the discount you get for tatralandia is little complicated. You need to give a deposit of 100€ (in cash) before you get a bracelet. I asked the employees what this deposit was for but they could not tell me exactly. Overall a little confusing. They also don't speak...
