Pension Fortuna — Hotel in Liptovský Mikuláš

We stayed at this Pension for 6 nights while skiing in the Jasna area of Slovakia. We found the standard of the accommodation to be good, although the paper thin walls between the various rooms and apartments ensured that we shared in the very personal bathroom experiences of our neighbours. This aside, the accommodation was in a relatively new building with clean rooms, good kitchen facilities and even a bar downstairs. Unfortunately, food was not served on site at times and one should first enquire when meals are available in order to plan appropriately. While advertised as being 6km from the nearest ski slopes, it was in fact 14km to the ski runs of Zahratky. While there was a free bus transfer to the ski slopes, we would recommend taking a car with as the distance to bigger shops, restaurants and other amenities is sufficient to warrant one. Overall we enjoyed our stay, however, the staff were not overly friendly and do not speak English or accept credit card as payment so remember to bring sufficient...

Very comfortable and clean rooms with private bathroom, towels and everything you need (Wi-Fi, TV, parking, shared kitchen - so consider bringing own coffee or tea, mini spa available when you book in advance i.e. sauna, massage, additional room to dry and store ski boots). You can't pay by credit but the owners have ING account in PL so you may arrange money transfer. Restaurants and ski bus to Jasna Chopok in walking distance (200 m). The owners are very friendly...

Penzión Fortuna je skutočným klenotom, ktorý odporúčam každému, kto hľadá pokojné a pohodlné miesto na oddych. Už pri príchode nás privítali majitelia - manželský pár, ktorý je nielen veľmi milý a ústretový, ale aj poteší starostlivý. Atmostefa je tam ako doma, čo pridalo môjmu pobytu na výnimočnosti.

Samotný penzión je mimoriadne čistý, čo je pre mňa osobne veľmi dôležité. Apartman bol uprataný s precíznosťou, čo svedčí o najvyššej starostlivosti a majiteľov vysokých štandardov. Zariadenie penziónu je vkusné, v harmonických farbách, ktoré vytvárajú príjemnú a pokojnú atmosféru. Vidieť, že si dali záležať na každom detaile, od nábytku až po dekorácie.

Penzión je ideálnym miestom na relaxáciu, s krásnym výhľadom a pokojným okolím, kde si môžete skutočne oddýchnuť od každodenného zhonu. Celkovo môžem povedať, že tento penzión je jedným z najlepších miest, kde som kedy bývala.
