Hotel Park is very well situated, it looks good at first glance, although the exterior is a bit outdated, but its interior is gradually being renovated. The inside of the hotel is nice and the parts I saw were well furnished. In accordance with the travel agency, it is the only hotel in Piešťany offering All inclusive services, ... let‘s say its Slovak version. The travel agency and the hotel itself are presented as a 4-star, but you can also find it as a 3-star on the website, so choose what you prefer... Piešťany is a beautiful spa town, especially during summer time and offers many opportunities for holiday and relax. The hotel offered a very good and rich seasonal animation program for children up to 12 called Planet Fun, with experienced animators. Parking at the hotel was problem-free, but we had a parking place reserved in advance. The reception/front desk and check-in were smooth, there was attentive and kind staff, although the children firstly received only bracelets for half board, but they exchanged them at the reception right after the second "misunderstanding" in the dining room, when the waiter asked us what meals we actually paid when he was justifiably "confused" by various bracelets. The food itself is at a very good level in the form of buffet tables with a very decent selection and very tasty. I will go back to the Slovak version of All inclusive. I don't understand why they call it All inclusive, when it's actually just full board plus. The minibar in the room is fully paid, as well as all the drinks in the new nice Sky Bar and drinks offered in the wellness and pool area. I don't understand why it's so hard to include everything into the price and be really an All inclusive hotel. This should not be a matter for a 7-day "All inclusive" stay with your own transport for 1,982 EUR. Slovakia is terribly expensive and services are far from reaching the level of e.g. Turkey, although prices are higher in Slovakia!!! And we said to ourselves, as Slovaks, that we would support Slovak tourism and the economy because of the coronavirus. As for the room, we were told that we were accommodated in one of the best rooms in the newest and luxury part of the hotel. Only access to this luxury area is limited, as there is only one old elevator for 3 people, which you should not use with your luggage. The apartment itself was at first site very nice and luxuriously furnished. At the second glance, I found mold in the joints in the shower, by the fan in the bathroom and also behind the couch in the "living room". The internet cable was routed to the room in a disproportionately large hole by the window and I also found few other such "tweaks" a la Albania. As for the internet and wifi, we were in apartment 52 and the signal was almost zero and kept falling out. The bathroom door creaked like a 700 years old castle gate, and the handle was almost fully stucked, which didn't improve even after my second visit of the front desk. The cleanlines in the room was good for the fact that it looked like an acute lack of hotel staff for maintenance and cleaning. The pool was very nice with an outdoor terrace, but the impression was a little spoiled by the almost constant absence of staff at it. There was only one person running with towels, turning on the limited hot tub and cleaning the pool area of water, as it was extremely slippery in its immediate vicinity. On the other hand, other positives were that the towels by the pool were free, as well as the sunbeds, and there was also a swimsuit sipper by the pool. Overall, I would recommend a holiday or stay at the Park Hotel. But I would also strongly recommend the hotel management to take better care of the hotel and the hotel staff themselves as well as improve the services for...
Vrátim sa späť k slovenskej verzii All inclusive. Nechápem prečo to volajú All inclusive, keď je to vlastne len plná penzia plus 2 snacky (doobeda a poobede). Ale tiež by som dôrazne odporučil manažmentu hotela, aby sa o hotel a aj samotný personál lepšie staral.||||Hotel Park is very well situated, it looks good at first glance, although the exterior is a bit outdated, but its interior is gradually being renovated. Read moreIf I could give this hotel 0 stars I would. My family and I were looking for a nice weekend getaway away from town for a little relaxation.
The most relaxing part about the experience with this hotel was leaving.
First of all, everything was broken, dirty, and lacked any care. As you can see, the shower head holder is completely broken, and you have to carry it with your hand while shampooing and cleaning yourself. Unless you have more than 2 hands, this process was tiring and did not reflect the 4.3 stars that this hotel apparently has.
The sink would not allow water to go down, and when my husband somehow opened it the worst filthy smell had come out of the sink, like a sewer leak.
The worst part, we had initially thought that we needed an extra bed because when my husband had asked the reception, they said that there is no sofa bed. We went up to our room and saw that there was in fact a sofa bed and now we had an extra bed in our room for no reason. We asked the receptionist to take away the bed because we were misinformed about the absence of a sofa bed. They had told us they are busy now, and will do it tomorrow.
We get to paying the following day and we are faced with an extra 38 euro charge, for a bed we did not use. I paid this because I just wanted to leave but let the receptionist know how bad everything was in the room and how basically nothing worked.
My husband came later and was not happy with this and demanded that they return our money because we were paying for something we did not use and asked to be taken away.
This hotel was the worst I’ve been to, absolutely nothing works and the receptionist is very unfriendly, if you don’t want to speak and help people then maybe find some other job, not sure how she got this job to begin with.
Very greedy hotel with poor maintenance and poor staff. I would not recommend this to anyone, pretty sure they have fake positive reviews because there’s no way what I experienced was anything close to 4 star, they could maybe scrape a 2 stars but...
