Let's start with nice things first:||||- very nice and relaxing atmosphere on the garden just next to the river, we really enjoyed a beer watching fish, swans and turtles||||- great location, just a short walk (5 mins) to Spa Island and city center||||Unfortunately, there were more things that were not so nice:||||- while bedsheets looked clean, the floor was covered with bunches of dust and not seems to be wiped quite a long time ago||||- shower tap was broken, it needed very careful handling not to cut yourself and to be able to take a shower||||- Wi-Fi did not really work; honestly, when my phone connected to Wi-Fi, it was so slow that I had to disconnect it and use 3G roaming to check maps and tourist attractions||||- TV channels - a small thing, we did not come to watch TV, on the other hand, having a satellite TV without "card" inserted in the television makes you switch between error messages, instead of TV channels (no, honestly, there were few working TV channels, but nothing on in there - not a hotel's failure though)||||- breakfast - it supposed to be a buffet but there was not much on offer; but OK, having some bread/rolls, ham, cheese, juice and drink. Unfortunately, the staff took all empty glasses and plates immediately and it just looks as if they were terrified that we want to get a bit more juice or meal for the breakfast.||||How to sum up our stay? We booked the hotel for one night only and for the price it could have been much worse. On the other hand - just imagine that we booked 3 nights or a week here, that wouldn't be good at all.||||If you're looking for a place to sleep only and go, and don't expect too much at the same time, go for it. Otherwise, try to find something else. Really - three stars just for the outdoor...
Read moreHotel is nothing like it is presented on the pictures or the website.||Not able to pay by card as the card machine is broken, no mini bar to get in the room, no fridge, no wifi even though they give you the password which isn’t working anyway. You only can buy there something to drink from 8am to 8pm as they shut everything inside so if you want a drink afterwards you cannot buy anything. Drinks are very limited, 1 ordinary beer and one none alcoholic, And the rest they either haven’t got or it’s only few on the menu left. ||The cushions at the siting area outside are taken away before 8pm so you only can sit on hard chairs and no toilet anywhere unless you go inside on the first floor. No resting area inside after 8pm.||||Breakfast - can’t call it a breakfast at all, no ham or cheese, literally nothing as they will bring you some bread and triangle spread cheese or an omelette if you want. There is no food on the table it’s only what you given. ||||Rooms - ain’t very clean, dirty floor! No shampoo or shower gel, only hand soap smells extremely bad like some kind of a chemical. ||||You are not able to sleep as the noise form the cars are too noisy all night. Air con is that noisy they you have to turn it off in order to have a chat or try to sleep. And no curtains!!! So the lights from all cars are blinding you all night. ||||Only positive was the staff working there as the owners doesn’t care! ||||Wouldn’t recommend to stay there,...
Read moreTo start off, the first impression of this accomodation is not so pleasant, it doesn't seem much professional, but let's get to the main point. |We reserved an apartment a long time before our trip and we had it confirmed by the hotel. Yet, when we came, they didn't have the apartment free for us and they weren't even aware of the fact, that we should be accomodated in there! Therefore, I assume that the people in the management don't communicate whatsoever.|As we paid for it beforehand, we insisted on the hotel giving us the room. After an argument, they checked into their system and realised, that we actually had paid for the apartment. After that, as they didn't have the room ready for us, they booked a room in a hotel nearby for us to stay in and obviously paid for it as well. So at least they did something and we had somewhere to go, even though we weren't at their hotel. |However, the another hotel we ended up in (it is called Panorama) was very good, most probably much better than this original one would be, to be honest, so in the end we had an enjoyable stay but in a different accomodation. |To conclude, we were really disappointed by this problem that occured and because of that, I definitely would NOT recommend this accomodation. There are plenty of other options...
