Hotel Mamut — Hotel in Poprad

The staff is really really friendly and helpful. The woman, who worked at the reception gave us great tips where to go and what to see. She printed maps and train schedules for us. Super helpful.

Rooms are neat and clean and the whole hotel seems pretty newly build. So everything is pretty modern. Balcony was rather small. We chose this hotel because we wanted to have a great view to the Tatra Mountains. As you can see in the photo we had a view of the mountain, but the streets around the hotel look quite industrial and grey. Next time we will definitely book a stay in the mountains itself. Wrote in to ask for room availability at the very last minute and the hotel team was extremely prompt to reply and reserve a room (unlike another property close to the ice hockey stadium..).||The room was new, clean, with the necessary amenities available. While reception hours are limited, they have left other options to contact them - which was very appreciated.||Breakfast was at the nearby café/ bar, was delicious and we had 2nd servings!
