This is far from a 4 star hotel. ||||1. Staff are super nice! Yes, they are. ||2. Our hotel room was located in another building, across the road from the main building. Took the 2nd entrance, got to the 2nd floor, but our keycard would not open the hallway door. So we had to get back, took the first entrance, got to the 2nd floor, keycard worked - we had to walk all the way to the end of the hallway, where are room was located, right next from the 2nd hallway door, that we could not open. ||3. AC in the room did not work, or worked very poorly - based on the other reviews, this was intentional. The temperature difference between outdoord and indoors was hardly 3 degrees. At night we had 29 degrees in our room. ||4. Besides the bed, there was no night table, to put your phone, or a water bottle. ||5. on the minibar there is listed Absolut vodka, in fact there was some "local" vodka, called vodka||6. We have been charged for parking, even though I later checked my email, where it clearly stated "parking included" - I was later told, that they have deducted it from the cost. ||7. Breakfast at 7am is only Mon-Sat. On Sundays, the breakfast is at 8am. So we had to go for an hour long walk, as nobody told us this, even the brochure states, breakfast is being served from 7.||8. instead of one king bed, there were 2 singles, joined as one king. this was too bad, as I kept falling between the mattresses.||9. our room had a huge parking lot view, but I guess it does not matter now, but it'd be nice, if it was mentioned in the room description. ||||||PS: fix the typos in the cardboard envelope that holds the keycard. it does not look professional. E.g: Frustuck should be Frühstück, and fulfit is not a word. Just a little detail. ||||Overall assumption: it's a nice place, with super friendly and nice staff, but not worth what I paid and 4 star hotel looks much different than this. I paid a 4 star price though.||||Beware, when you eat at one of the local "restaurants" near by as many of them do not accept cards/contactless payment. Read moreNEVER STAY HERE. I have never left a hotel I checked into, but after just one night we had to. It is advertised as having air conditioning, but it DOES NOT WORK. There is a thermostat in the room, but it does not work. The front desk controls it, and is under orders from management to not run it very often. When they do it isn’t for long and the air isn’t very cool. The desk said there was an issue, but what I am reading from various reviews, this has been an issue for a long time. When asked about a fan, we were told they do not give fans to guests (they know it is extremely hot, but keep the fans for themselves). The morning after sweating all night (it was 80-90°F/30-35° C) the lady at the desk was very kind and understood our pain because she said it was extremely hot in the lobby too (but nowhere near as hot as it was in our room). Also, our 2nd floor room faced another building, so there was nowhere to get any air flow into the room. Some guests even left their doors open to try and get air. To make matters worse when we told the desk clerk we needed to leave, she said that to cancel we would need to go through Expedia since that is who we booked our room with. For over a month the manager has refused to give a refund. I typically give extremely high ratings for great places, but this is an extremely poor run hotel that is so hot you can’t function. We got a beach Villa with a fantastic ocean view, the meals were provided in a seven day rotation menu which consists of a mixture of a continental to oriental food which is suitable for any nationality, the texture quality potion size and food mix was exceptional. The personalized service and follow ups in all round service was excellent. The executive chef Soyza, chef Jude and culinary team is in a constant touch with us for any request or any special requirement apart from the regular food provided.
