Miramonti Resort — Hotel in Vysoké Tatry

Stood for 8 nights on august, 2023. Apartment was clear and was enought place for 2 persons. I choosed to take 2 person apartments, not Bed & Breakfast service. In small kitchenete was fridge and enought items to cook small meals for 2. I wanted some more shelves in shover- there are not place to hang second towel or some pants, or pijama. (I stood with 10 years old boy.) Very liked : only 3 minutes on foot to railway station and only 4 minutes by train to big railway crossroads in Stary Smokovec. Second like: in our room I always can see the ongoing train in railway station. In the same time, I always can see the weather on mountains, especially, on Lomnicky peak. It helps me to plan my treking in mountains. Next to the Miramonti is Childrens SPA hotel with big playground. My boy went there to spend her spare time. It is possible- if I will go to Tatras again, I will choose Miramonti again. Good price& service...

Good value for money. A little bit out of Stary Smokovce but by car it's 5mins. Also the local train station is very close. All the main spots of the Tatras are close by car or local train. Parking is free and close. The hotel is a bit old fashioned (main building) but clean and in good condition. Local entertainment in the hotel is limited to table soccer or table tennis. For smaller kids there is a play-corner in the restaurant. Staff very nice and helpful. Half board, like the hotel, is good value for money. Breakfast is a standard buffet but everything is fresh and tasty. Might be boring after some days. Dinner is a menu, where you can select from 2 main courses + soup, salad and cake. This place was perfect for us to stay, we had a suite which had two good sized rooms and a large bathroom with decent sized bath, the balcony offered vies out over the valley and the rom also had stunning view of the mountains. The hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful, we had no problems with communication in English. The hotel had a restaurant, but we did not use this as we wanted to eat in the town. The tram stop (1€ per person) is just across the road and the trams run every hour so are a little busy, but they only take 10 mins so standing really is not a problem.
