I recently stayed at Ribno Glamping, and I must say the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. The little cabins are nicely furnished, though they are on the smaller side. The water in the hot tub was clean, and the tub itself was well-maintained. We really appreciated the air conditioning, although I would like to note that it’s practically impossible to cool down the upper level of the cabin properly.
One thing I would recommend to the provider is to clean the metal mugs provided in the cabin. I found them to be unpleasantly dirty when I tried to use them, and it was off-putting. Additionally, the shower stall could use a good cleaning. There’s a lot of limescale, which could be easily removed with natural cleaning products, and it doesn’t look great.
As for dinner at the hotel, it was quite disappointing. The food was not suitable for children, and they didn’t have enough to eat. It certainly wasn’t worth...
Read moreWe enjoyed our stay here a lot! The location is beautiful, mountains all around. It was tricky finding it, and there was a rutted dirt road to traverse, but it appeared they are updating the road so hopefully that improves. We stayed in the Luxury Cabins, which do have their own private bath. The cabin was clean, cute, and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. They are located close to each other, and unfortunately we had neighbors who played really loud music all evening. This was against policy, and I’m not holding it against the hotel. The breakfast buffet (included) was good, but I do not recommend the dinner buffet. Not worth the cost, and food was just okay. Our only complaint is that the shower area was moldy, and several floor tiles in the shower were spongy, with water oozing out when you stepped on them when supposedly dry, which was kinda gross. Easy enough to fix. We...
Read moreWe were staying at the luxury camping. Was very cute and cozy. Check in at the main building where you can also have the breakfast. Hot tub was heated at all times-very convinient.
On the downside the bed in the room had two separate matressess so basically one of us ended up sleeping inbetween the matressess-not too pleasant. Also in out house nr 15 the bathroom floor collected water underneath the shower area-so might not be the healthiest at some point when some mold will be collecting there.
Sauna was also nice to have in the room, for heat lovers-it is an infrared sauna so not quite the Finnish experience.
Breakfast was nice, everything what needed was there and...
