Ribno Alpine Hotel — Hotel in Bled

Ribno Alpine Resort Hotel is the hotel one would not forget. Located near the forest, the tranquility of one's stay is assured and you can get a recharging sleep. Friendly staff is always welcoming and it looks like the whole staff is very well coordinated, as everything runs smoothly and quietly. Each guest is welcomed personally. Zero waste is their philosophy and it can be felt that the owners and whole staff are living it. Small details that they introduced certainly help reducing the amount of trash. Lovely short messages all over the hotel encourage guests to take care of the nature, water saving etc. Rooms are basically made out of wood with some original solutions. Beds are comfortable, everything is just clean and cozy. The food is delicious, there's plenty of choice, lots of local produce is available. In case of staying more days, there's enough of variety. The hotel has a cozy lounge where one can see the jerseys of best Slovenian cyclers. Everything is nature/biking style. The nature around is perfect for cycling, hiking, or just relaxing amid the forest. If you never tried using an electric bike, you can do it there. They have lots of mountain bikes and electric bikes for rent. A special bike washing place and repair shop is available too. If you have your own bike, there a bike storage where you can keep it safely. For special experience you can stay in glamping cotrages or luxury glamping cotrages. If you wouldnt like to be in a tourist spot, I would definitely recommend to stay at this hotel/glamping instead of looking for your accommodation at...

1 word: Amazing! We stayed in a beautiful and peaceful treehouse in the small woods next to the Hotel. We made a reservation by phone and we had a nice and friendly welcome. The treehouse has sleeping place for 2 adults and 2 children. On the pictures it looks a bit bigger than it really is but the separate private bathroom and the hottub makes it perfect. Everything is very clean and there is also a beautiful garden where you can chill and read a good book. Every day they clean the water in hot tub and make sure that the water is hot. You can also ask roomservice in the tree house which we recommend. Can you imagine drinking champagne and eating a Slovenian sausage in the hot tub? Thank you, Matey!😀 Beside the friendly service, you have also a very good wellness team! I had the best sport massage ever! Breakfast was very good and a lot of choices. The hotel is 4km from citycenter Bled and you have a great panorama view on the mountains! This time it was a friends trip but I will definitely come back with...

We went to Ribino for a short trip after the New Years. It's a cosy wooden hotel, very warm, perfectly located, near Bled but also near a forrest and a village. It'a a half an hour easy walk to Bled. It's also a zero waste hotel (first zero waste hotel in Slovenia- that's what they say) so you can find garbage disposals for diferent kind of waste all over the hotel. The breakfast is included and it is a great brekfast with buffet. The spa zone is extra 10 euros (it should be included in the pricing of the room). The spa is small, only two small saunas and a jacuzzy and is actually the biggest disappointment of the service and accomodation. It's located in the basement so it has a cold feeling, not much room, and for 10 euros extra you have to wash your own cups and you don't even get a mantile (or slippers - unless you ask). The spa is the reason for lower review and mark.
