Erlah House — Hotel in Bohinj

Be careful when booking a room on Booking (and probably elsewhere), as the accomodation is somewhat misleading with room description.||Our room was described as also having a veranda or terrace, but, if we don't count shared spaces, the room itself had none of these. The pictures were also completely different from what we got, all showing a bright room with a balcony.||If I had known before, I would never have booked this room, because a balcony or a private terrace is very important to us, especially in the summer months.||When we informed the owner about the issue, they said that that particular room does not have a balcony and that it is not described as the room with balcony. When we asked them about why the photos are showing a balcony and why does it say that the room has a terrace or a veranda, they said that the pictures were all the same for all the rooms and there is no other way to do it on the booking, the terrace is meant as the common, shared space and that we can be happy that we got this room, because they just had a cancellation. The owner offered to give us a full refund and we could go somewhere else. We looked for other accommodations, but it was impossible to find something within the same budget in the last minute.||The room is ok, nothing special, definitely too much for this price.||The breakfast was really rich and aesthetic, it's just a shame that we did't know beforehand that we can ask for a vegetarian or vegan option, so we mostly got meat.||The common terrace where drinks and biscuits were available was very cute.||The location of the house was superb, just a few minutes' walk away from my favorite part of Lake Bohinj.||I am sorry for the bad experience, as I have been looking forward to this stay there for a very long time, because I had heard and seen so many nice things about this place. I believe everything would have been different if we got the room with balcony or a terrace.||The price itself was definitely too high for what it...

I was so happy to booked with House Erlah. Only 2 weeks of vaction a year. I have been trying to reach the owner for two weeks and finally got a reservation over email - she had an email full and couldnt receive any. She even thanked me for telling her that so she empy it. I have send her back all the information needed except one number - i figured she will let me know if she need the number right away (usually when you check in you give all these personal information). Three days before arrival i have send an email just in case if anything is different because COVID and got a replay that my reservation was cancelled because I did not give that number. No warning, nothing. I text back of course but no answer. So just for "fun" I went to see the prices at the moment and yeah.. our room was given away for 200 more euros - dissapointed. We did not even get I am sorry, nothing. Just a cancel. So, for sure i know that none of my hiking friends will ever be guests there. There are too many nice hotels around and I have traveled a lot but this was the worst experiance ever. well money over...
