Hotel Videc — Hotel in Hoče-Slivnica

We spent there 2 days on the Christmas 2021. Please visit this place only if you do not care much if people do not wear masks.

We are kinda strict about following the covid-rules, this is why it was quite disappointing when staff was saying "of sorry, it's just uncomfortable to wear mask". Staff had masks on the chin (especially reception staff). There were no checks of PCT conditions, so guests felt free to enter the lobby without mask at all.

I know there are people who hate the current rules, but for those who do care about others - please avoid visiting this place.

The good thing is the location and proximity to the ski slopes with kids ski school. The only acceptable way (in my opinion) is to spend the entire day on the slope and use hotel only for...

We were large group of families with kids, took two apartments in Videc. Service was great from the begining, everything was as they said. Apartments (10+2) are very spacious, you have everything that you need, perfect for families and friends. Pool is across the apartment, very big, with showers and lockers, we had a great time! Also “ski” room with lockers and everything is great! Everything was perfect for us! Hotel is situated on top of skiing slope. It takes 8min with funicular to reach Maribor and 30min with car because you have to drive around the hill. Hotel room is spacious. It has two beds but also two bunk beds that fold like Murphy bed, so the room can fit 4 people. The tourist village also has wellness. It's just 20m from the hotel. Breakfast is self service.
