Staying at Pohorski Dom was truly an unforgettable experience – not only because of its peaceful mountain surroundings but also thanks to the incredible hosts who made me feel completely at home. They were exceptionally attentive, always willing to help, and went far beyond expectations by arranging a doctor’s appointment and treatment when I suddenly experienced pain. Their kindness and dedication were remarkable.

The food was outstanding, prepared with care from fresh, locally sourced ingredients provided by small regional producers. Every meal was flavorful, authentic, and beautifully served.

My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had a large, well-equipped bathroom, which made my stay even more pleasant.

The entire accommodation is set in a tranquil, forested part of the mountain, offering peace, fresh air, and the soothing sounds of nature – the perfect place to relax and recharge.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pohorski dom in Slovenia, and I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience. From the moment I arrived, everything about this accommodation exceeded my expectations. The service was truly outstanding. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure my comfort. Their genuine hospitality made me feel right at home. As for the accommodation itself, it was simply perfect. My room was immaculately clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a peaceful and relaxing retreat after a day of exploring in Slovenia and Austria. Wir waren als Familie mit einem Hund für 2 Tage auf unserer Heimreise. Das Hotel war sehr gut erreichbar und nur eine kurze Strecke etwas kiesiger Weg durch den Wald, da es halt auch idyllisch im Wald liegt. Aber trotzdem gut ausgebaut. Wir wurden von den Eigentümern sofort herzlich empfangen und haben unser Zimmer bekommen. Es stand die ganze Zeit Kaffee, Wasser und frisches Obst zur Verfügung. Der Kaffee war auch sehr gut, da es eine Maschine mit richtigen Bohnen war. Wir hatten das Glück das wir einen Tag sogar komplett alleine drin waren, was es natürlich sehr exklusiv machte. Generell war es sehr ruhig. Die Lage ist super , da man gleich die Seilbahn da hat und auch gleich ein top Wanderwege. Unter anderem zu einem Wasserfall in der Nähe. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Große Auswahl an frischer Wurst und Käse. Müsli , Jogurt, Toppings, selbstgemachte Blätterteigtaschen, frisches Brot und Semmeln. Regionaler Bio Saft und rühr- oder spiegelei gab es auch noch. Die Gastgeber waren super lieb und freundlich und haben auch immer einen Kakao für unseren junior gemacht. Am Abend kann man auch dort was essen, wenn man rechtzeitig Bescheid gibt. Wir haben eine Fleisch und Hähnchenpfanne mit Kartoffelbrei gehabt, was selbst gemacht bzw gekocht wurde. Es war super lecker. Die Zimmer sind auch sehr ordentlich und sauber gewesen.
