Guest House Pohorska Kavarna — Hotel in Maribor

So this is the second time staying at the hotel in the past week. We loved it so much the first time we came back a second time Although I thought it was a bed and breakfast it was so much more. Small quaint atmosphere with a modern elegance. The staff checked in with me before we arrived since we would be arriving later in the evening. I was pleasantly surprised when I went in. They have a nice cafe which we enjoyed great coffee and drinks and some ice cream. Everything was delicious. We also had breakfast. It was very nice and fresh with a nice selection from eggs coffee and crepes. We stayed in the apartment. It had three bedrooms One on the main floor and two upstairs. The apartment was nicely decorated and AC was efficient. The bed was a nice firmness. Not too hard or too soft. I could actually stay here for a main stay and not just passing through like this time. Worthy for anyone to come stay whether a family or a couple. I could have a romantic weekend here with my wife. This time was the whole family and we had...

In general, the apartment was very good. Only somehow those last few things were missing all the time. In one of our bathrooms there was no soap, only after we asked the second day. After a few days the cleaners just took the garbage bag from the bathroom, but didn't leave a new one. When we had breakfast, one day we were forgotten about, and we had to go out to the cafe and ask for someone to follow up. But these were individual cases happening only a few times. In general it was pretty good, and I would give 5 stars, if only not for these bad experiences. One of the receptionist ladies was amazing, very helpful. I can only recommend the place, and hopefully these mistakes will be corrected...

We stayed for one night as a stop on our way to bled area. I could find much cheaper places but this one looked very good.|The staff was nice, they waited for us until 23:30 and the check in was quick.|But, during night we heard so many noises! We found out our room was near all the air conditioning engines which was terrible.|The hotel itself is very old and not well maintained. We had cracks on our walls and dust on the carpet floor.|The shower was terrible and no water pressure.
