Hotel Arena — Hotel in Maribor

We were checked in by a very unpleasant young lady that reminded us in a very rude manner that parking was EUR8 per day even when I said it's fine with us. One of the rooms we were given had a problem with the air conditioning, and luckily when we went down to the reception to complain, there was another person there that was very helpful and friendly, and he immediately changed it to a better room with a nice view facing the slope. We have stayed at even better 3-star hotels, but the 4-star rating of this hotel is really misleading, and should be downgraded. The rooms are very basic, outdated TV, slow internet unless with an additional fee for faster speed, terrible bathroom with low quality bathroom amenities, and an even worse shower stall. The nicer part of the hotel was the large lobby, and breakfast was quite decent. The only enjoyable experience we had, was going on the toboggan ride on the slope which was not part...

Overpriced Dirty floor. The carpet was stained beyond normal and looked dirty. I honestly didn't feel comfortable walking there without shoes. The balcony from my room was dirty. The bathroom extremely chintzy with awful green tiles. Poor breakfast. Not many options and few fruits. The hotel corridor was a mess and I saw even clothes thrown on the floor(yes, of the corridor) when some ladies were cleaning the rooms. I have no idea what happened, maybe some rude guests but still very bad organised hotel. I felt like one day the hotel was good as they have a good structure and spacious room. But no maintenance at all. But at least one thing I can't blame is about the staff. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. Since the girls of the reception to the people of the bar/breakfast. Final conclusion: We were really disappointed. There were a lot of negatives things in the hotel. Just not worth...

We enjoyed this accommodation! The room is large, the bathroom very large - everything clean. The balcony is sunny all day long! The room price included sauna, we took it in the evening. There everything is under control! New, quality equipment ... Everyone, women / men leave their clothes ALL in the locker, receive a white cotton sheet and enter the world of saunas. Sauna moist and others dry at different temperatures (45-80), ice room, there are 2 pools, countless comfortable beds, low sound music, teas, fresh fruits, lemon water - all these are free.||Rich, varied breakfast = excellent!||Very pleasant experience!||I also recommend to others, we will definitely...
