We had a two night stay in this beautiful old winery in the Vipava region. Much of the building was constructed in 1696 making it a mindbogglingly old hotel. It very much encourages guest to be social with free pour wines (pay when you leave), wine tastings and a beautiful garden setting to enjoy a bottle (or two!) and a prosciutto and cheese platter. In the evening we did the wine tasting that is offered and we can only recommend to do it. The atmosphere was lovely and the tasting was well managed.
