Biren Self Catering — Hotel in Bellville

This was the worst experience of all the self catering place I've visited. When we arrived, we had to wait almost 2hrs, cos they could not find our booking. Eventually we were given 2 family rooms. No cutlery, cups, plates, pots etc. 1 handtowel was provided. The tv's in the rooms could not connect to dstv, and you had to come ask reception to change the channel if you want to watch something in the main lounge. The wifi only connected if you sit in the main lounge. At 9h30 we were told, that we have 15mins to check out, but on the website it says 11h30. During the night cars pull in, and the staff and friends make a noise, then there is rooms available for the friends. During the day friends are moved to different empty rooms, if new people arrived who booked, totally unacceptable. I will not recommend this place to no one. Such a beautiful house, in a quiet area, but the staff does not know how to run this kind of business. I wonder if the real owner knows whats...

This was the worst stay I have ever encountered. Dirty , no bathroom mats, bedding with holes. Key broke in door lock and could not find another key had to climb through a window as this was the only way at the time. The bedroom walls were dirty and also no floor mats. Other guests were drinking excessively and playing music and had no respect for others sleeping as they were talking loudly as they moved towards their bedrooms. Communal kitchen that was dirty. No cutlery. Only stayed one night of the 7 nights as my children felt unsafe and not used to the condition they...

Very unhappy about this venue. Not what the pictures portrade. We had no remote for the TV in our room. The bedside lamp had no globe, there was not one dustbin to be found anywhere on the property, the flowerbedswere full of Stompies. It was more like a motel. The shock on the staff faces when we arrived was as if we are the wrong type of people they were expecting.,...
