Obesa Lodge — Hotel in Camdeboo Local Municipality

The service is very poor I can only give them 0 Star if there is one. We booked the place for the 30th January 2023 and we paid the full amount. We were coming from Lusikisiki and we were supposed to be at the lodge before 9PM but unfortunately we couldn't make that time because of the situation. We called in earlier around 7 to say that we were going to be late atleast we can only arrive there at 10PM, to our surprise the lady who spoke to us was so so rude, I wish I recorded her while she was speaking. We were so calm speaking to her so politely even begging her but the woman was so arrogant, then we ask what will happen to the money we paid since she will not wait for us till 10 and she said she will not refund the money & so it's gone & truly she didn't refund us our money. We even suggested to her that she can live the key for us in the box since we are arriving at 10 & she said she cannot do that, truly we arrived at 10 & we find out that she already left. So we were stranded, lucky Rothman B&B welcomed us even after 10 & they have excellent service. I don't recommend this B&B. This person was really cruel & she even drop the phone while still speaking, she did that to the 3 of us who were calling her. Very very bad service...

Lovely, quirky, little place to stay overnight. Everything was clean and neat and in working order. We received a map of the town with suggestions for restaurants on arrival and a call later the afternoon to tell us there would be load-shedding later that night and that we could pick up a lamp at the office. We had a lovely time there and would recommend it to anyone of our friends and family. We would however suggest that you fit the bathroom with a bigger bath tub and closed the front stoep that face the road,so that one can sit outside in the sunshine and admire the succulent garden opposite the street.
