What makes this accommodation stand out head-and-shoulders above the rest (and I've stayed at numerous guesthouses, from 5-star to those not rated by the Tourism Grading Council) is their service. Always friendly, always available, very professional but ready to go the extra mile. This was our stop-over on our way to our honeymoon in the Wilderness. Our car broke down just outside Graaff Reinet and they warmly welcomed us after 8pm as though we were on time. We received a delicious complementary wine and a well-wish card for our honeymoon. Everything was clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and spacious. All the amenities we could want were provided. They have beautiful grounds with a put put course, volleyball net and camping grounds - it looks like a refreshing paradise for children. The car took longer to repair than aticipated but we were told that we could leave our belongings in the room and go explore the town until we hear back from the mechanic (they had no bookings in our room for the next day). We left our belongings there until 4pm when we heard that the car would only be ready the next morning. They remained warm, friendly and professional throughout. The breakfast was also sufficient in quantity, fresh and tasty. We stayed here again on our trip back and were no less delighted about this amazing...
Read moreWhen I phoned Profcon for a reservation the phone was answered by a lady that was extremely well informed about her area. Hats off to her. Making the reservation was effortless. Arriving at Profcon took us by surprise. This establishment caters for self catering accommodation, camping, functions etc. There are a huge playground for kids, a swimming pool and nursery with pots and plants. Security is good and they are well equipped for loadshedding. We had our own entrance gate to Sunflower cottage. Profcon is also located in a quite area, with other touristy places down the road. I am sure if you speak to management they will be able to accommodate a wheelchair. Our Maltese doggy traveling with us, was also welcome. I would recommend Profcon as a place to stay for a one night sleepover or an...
Read moreWe had a most comfortable self catering room of generous proportions. It was well equipped, had everything we needed and was clean and serviced daily. Our Princess loved the fact it was pet friendly and she loved the grass to run and play on and meeting the gentle resident dogs. Everyone - was hospitable, kind, helpful, friendly and could not have done more to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We were to have stayed 4 nights and ended up as 6! ||Our friends camped (in one of the 5 campsites) and they enjoyed their stay as well. Lovely grassed sites. Our friend needed a haircut and a local hairdresser was recommended and did a great job. The masseur was also loved and was excellent.||||It is well worth finding and staying at. ||Comes extremely highly recommended!||Thank you and all...
