Gastehuis 17 - Guest House 17 — Hotel in Free State

Everything is fine, the location and the room but the TV is not properly working for all normal channels, only 3 channels and no soccer and news, while other room have dstv and of which is the natural one and majority of people are familiar with and secondly the it'll be put more value and attract more customers if breakfast as extra optional and customers must siting room and dining room,where they sit and eat, not in the rooms and yes the kitchen is there but some of the items or plugs in the kitchen are not working properly and when you report or perhaps one ask assistance, you can't get it and that is the deal breaker 😏

I'd like to use the place on our next trip because we there in that city 15 time's a year and if all those issues can be resolved we can book the whole place in advance or all our Traveling to that City for our meeting, we can used it because it's safe,clean and quiet so I would urge the owner to do something about those issues, especially for the channels issues, I recommend dstv for all rooms, just for normal packaging,its fine, as I said,News channels and soccer,Not kaknet...

The place is stunning ,I loved it. Had a booking for 5 Adults and a separate room for myself.

The only problem that I saw is that the place is not a friendly zone ,where you can be free to feel as if you are home. They have many rules.

When I went out to the parking lot around 22:00 to my car to fetch my toiletries I saw the owner busy peeping through the sliding door looking . It really felt weird. I mean one must feel free to go out anytime you feel like .

We are a family of 2 adults and a 4 year old child. We were driving to JHB from Jeffreysbay in the Eastern Cape but got into trouble at 22h00 in the evening with our tyre. We had to be towed and realized we would need to stay over in Bloem which was the closest town.
