We went for the pizza special on a Tuesday. However, the waitress spoiled the whole experience by almost pestering us to add drinks and desert to the pizza, although we made it clear that we had something to drink before we came and will only have the pizza. She then visited us a view times asking if the pizza was to our liking and whether we are sure we do not want anything to drink and or desert. When I again said that we will only have the pizza, she replied: "Lyk my nie ek gaan julle oortuig nie" and "my hart is nou seer". First time I have experienced high pressure salesmanship in a restaurant. I am not sure if this is from Management or if the waiter just wants a bigger tip, but this is not on. Came in to order a takeaway this afternoon. After placing the order I went to take a seat while I wait for my order. The staff seemed tired or depressed. After 10min, It was quiet at the time, I noticed the guy in the kitchen place one box behind the cashier.

You would expect someone to call out your number when it is ready so I waited for him. After an additional 5min has passed, I thought I should check if it`s mine, which it was. Not sure if the staff was having an off day but I expected better service.

Clive was our waiter. He is very friendly and came around regularly to check on us. One of the supervisors also came by to check on us. My general impression is that the staff are properly trained and supervision is very strict. The atmosphere is quite good - the only downside is that the outside seats are very close to the street, so pedestrians walking by having arguments with each other can be heard very clearly.
