Kniff un Gaffel Guest House — Hotel in Gauteng

The strength of this establishment certainly lies in the restaurant - great food at very reasonable prices and the perfect location for celebrations. On the weekend of our group's stay, about 10 functions were hosted at the restaurant and the staff and management functioned like a well-oiled machine. Being able to stay in one of the guest-house rooms is an added benefit and enables guests to spend quality time together. Rooms are spacious and clean and have most of the amenities one would require for a short stay. Bathrooms are well equipped and beds provided a good night's rest. There are some minor maintenance and practical details that require attention - such as positioning of mirrors; electric kettle cords too short to reach the electric outlets; absence of hair-dryers in some rooms and some general plumbing and electrical maintenance issues, but overall this was a most...

We arrived one day earlier than expected. Ina and staff accommodated us and made us feel welcome from the second we walked in. We formed part of a large group of bikers that started arriving the next day and the staff of Knff un Gaffel went out of their way to please us all. The atmosphere at the bar area was great and the food was fantastic. For my first meal I had a 500g T-bone steak which was served with a local beer for a special price of only R79. The steak was done to perfection. This set the tone of culinary things to come during the whole weekend. It was topped off by a buffet breakfast on Sunday "to die for" - the presentation was amazing and the taste of the food provided matched its looks. Well done Ina and team... Wow!! What amazing atmosphere!! Here you could relax and bring your whole family and friends, where everybody is enjoying and creating marvelous memories! The food is absolutely delicious, not to mention they made the best pizzas ever tasted and their bar offers everything that will make your experience memorable and enjoyable. All the staff and waiters are well mannered and friendly and their service of the best! And an awesome Bed and Breakfast experience, with Conference facilities that wont bredk the bank!! Definitely the best conference, B&B, dining and socializing place in the whole of Pretoria with 5-Star...
