First impressions last.... We were welcomed by Elia, who happily opened the door for us on our arrival, and checked in on us regularly. My husband's carnivore pizza made with care by Medinda was smothered in homemade tomato sauce and loaded with cheese and lots of meat. I chose a specialty; oxtail and fettuccine, it was a more than generous portion, absolutely devine, the sauce had loads of flavour, and the meat was tender and fell off the bone. Hidden gem. Read moreI honestly cannot flaw this pizzeria. Not only can I not find better pizza in Pretoria, it is the atmosphere that takes you away. It’s small and cozy and has a very warm feeling. Everything is simple, however to the best degree. For eg, the wine selection is small, but all the wine is good. There is no beer on tap, but you have a great selection of high quality italian beers. The place is small, but it is so inviting as the owners make you feel part of the family.

Pizzeria Nenna is such a hidden gem! The service is amazing—so friendly and they really go the extra mile to make you feel special. The menu is just the right size and full of delicious Italian dishes. The place itself is super cozy and intimate, perfect for a relaxed meal.
