Starters

My first choice is the jalapeño poppers they are not to strong so from mild to hit eaters will like it.

Haloumi cheese one of the best takes i have seen. I was reluctant to try the combo’s provided but try them all mixed it a great experience.

Plankie steak kind of fall to a starter to share/build a meal(with above mentioned starters) or light meal.

Lunch

Above mentioned starter.

Gourmet open sandwich - my favourite is the chicken mayo but all options are good.

Main

I really like the pork ribs here some of the best and up to standard anywhere available in 400g and 800g.

If you are really hunger and love steak and chips and a pizza order this you will like it i will not ruin the surprise further.

If you like pizza its also a good choice here.

The bacon and blue cheese fillet with peppadew is great here.

Oxtail a very home cooked meal feel option - only draw back no mash option but rice is available.

Chicken schnitzel also a top choice amongst a few diners i know.

One of the must try items as the big messy is the Goliath burger named after the 4M movement have the burger and ask about the movement.

Dessert

Solid options here my too choice is the baked cheesecake(i do like cheese cake)

Drinks

Interesting choice - if you like stick / iced coffee - Dalgone a must try

They have great alcoholic specials available to have a drink with someone.

Everyone was very happy with their meals. Rump steaks were perfectly cooked and very tender. Except for a bit of fishbones at one end, the fish was a generous portion, and the calamari melted in my mouth (can't remember having better calamari anywhere else). Would just have been great if we could hear a bit of music down in the smoking area. The table we got was one of the big ones, and due to a loud group at a table next to us, we had to lean forward whenever talking to the person on the other side. Maybe it could be better to have a seperate "party / bar" area to keep celebrators and diners apart - then music can be added so diners won't havebto listen to these groups if you want to have a bit better atmosphere? Just a suggestion... Overall, the staff did not do anything wrong, but also did not add to the experience. So, I can't complain about them, but they're already forgotten. The best parts of this place is:

Just work on the atmosphere and get the staff positive, so we want to tip them for giving a memorable night. Get some outside gas heaters. Work on keeing us WOW'd by giving us great atmosphere and staff that's ready to impress (wanting to make all diners...

The variety of food offered, is fantastic. From the different dishes ordered by our group of 15 people, we are unanimous that the presentation and quality of the food is of exceptionally good quality.

BUT... unfortunately the service we received was poor, if not pathetic. The waiters had to be reminded time and again of a drink of one or more of the guests at our table that was not served. The food took more than an hour after ordering, to be served. Even after the majority of the guests were served their food, almost 20 minutes passed before the last guest received his order. (Chicken wings by the way.) This was on a Tuesday in the middle of the month and the venue was not overly busy. Please step up on your service, and train your waiters to be more attentive and quick. It is also disturbing that a 10% service fee is automatically added on the bill and then there is yet another space for "Gratuity". Going through the reviews of other customers, it stands out clearly that management does not even care to comment on most of the negative reviews. Clearly their "don't-care-attitude" rubbed off on the waiters. I doubt I will visit R&R Bistro again and will discourage all my friends and...
