Legacy Guest Lodge — Hotel in Gauteng

It's good value-for-money accomodation. If what you're looking for is a decent bed, a hot shower and working WiFi for a couple night's stay, you'll be good. You won't get any air-con, fan, or fridge in the room (at least I didn't have any in the room I was in) and the TV reception is okay, though a couple of channels are barely viewable. Your room can be cleaned everyday if you'd prefer that and the helpers are all pretty friendly. I booked a room for my father in May 2014. He comes from Cape Town so he is used to crime and horrible neighbourhood but this one takes the cake. He literally could not stay at the quest house because of how unsafe the neighbourhood was. People were making fires in the road and there was class and rubbish all over. When I phoned the lady at the hotel se informed me that she knows it is a unsafe area and that she normally come and picks up her visitors because it’s so unsafe. How is this alright? Unsafe place, terrible hotel.||Theres no AC, cold shower only, the blankets smelling like a bathroom , the staff unprepared and about the neighborhood I will prefer don’t talk about that.
