Maponya Guest House — Hotel in Gauteng

The worst guest house I've ever been to and I'm not talking about the service. Before we could go in we were made to wait outside the gate by a young woman while she was showing someone else around. We then walked in and found a guy watching TV very loudly and we are shown a room with a bed and a small skew floating shelf. I even had to ask the lady where the bathroom was and she directed me using hand gestures. As if that was not all, there was no towel and one of their rules are that if your make up smudges on the bed sheets there is a penalty fee of R100 and come to think of it they charge you for almost everything. There's a R100 fine if you intentionally pour wine on the bedding as if someone would intentionally pour wine on the bed or linen. (Their rules and prices were too extreme for the type of service they gave). As soon as I went into the bathroom, there was a panty liner wrap on the side of the bath tub and I was appalled by the dirty dishes in the sink and the lady's friends kept making noise till the early hours of the morning. Playing loud music and making a lot of noise. The bin in the room that was given to us had trash from other guests who visited prior to us being there and the comforter in the duvet cover was hanging out and it showed that it was dirty and that made me think that they probably don't wash the comforters after guests leave. The young woman that assisted us showed no interest in finding out if we have settled in and even her showing us around yiu could see that shes bored and just wants to leave or carry on with what she was busy with (no customer service and 0 hospitality) she opened the gate and went straight to the room she provided us with and didnt care to listen to our preferences she told us the price and worked out leaving us in the room and my partner had to follow her to make a payment (she didnt even look interested enough to have any guests there).
