Bollard Bay House — Hotel in George

Our 2nd fantastic stay at Bollard Bay House.||The location on the lagoon is superb & the Guest House is beautifully decorated & right on the beach. There are 2 swimming pools at the front & back of the house.||The rooms are decorated to a high standard & are extremly clean & very comfortable with TV, fridge & daily bottled water.||The breakfast is delicious with a great choice. It is freshly cooked & the ladies in the kitchen are so helpful & friendly. ||There is a well stocked honesty bar & TV Lounge.||The owner Mike is super friendly, knowledgeable about the area & very accommodating.||We enjoyed our daily chats with him putting the world to rights!||It has such a relaxing vibe & we always feel so at home.||It is always our place of choice when...

This is the best guesthouse we stayed at in South Africa. To put that in context, I have spent around 45 nights in SA from Cape Town to Knysna and Bollard Bay House tops them all by some way. After a lot of research, we chose Bollard Bay and we did not look back! The location is incredible, located right off the beach and the views are the best of all the guesthouses on the island. The host, Mike, is a lovely gentlemen and provided some great local recommendations that we would not have found ourselves. The staffing team are also wonderful and exceeded all our needs. How lucky were we to have found this place 😄. We recently stayed for a couple of days but that wasn’t long enough which means only one thing we have to return .The host Mike was absolutely amazing nothing too much trouble very helpful caring gentleman .The standard of the guest house went beyond 10/10 everything was spot on attention to detail .I think there was 5 rooms in total which was perfect as all the guest spoke to each other like one big happy family .The dolphin fruit bowls for breakfast were fun and something I will do when I arrive home with my grandchildren.Thank you to all for making our trip...
