Isola Bella Guest House — Hotel in George

If you ever come to Knysna and are looking for special accommodation, there is only one recommendation for me. Book a room at Isola Bella on Leisure Island. It is a beautiful house run by a warm-hearted, nice and friendly hostess Marisa. The location, right on the shore of the lagoon is breathtaking, the rooms are very clean and stylishly and tastefully furnished. |I actually never book accommodation without breakfast. The three of us had a wonderful apartment with a wrap around balcony giving wonderful views of the lagoon.||The day time weather was excellent but evenings were bitter cold and the apartment had no heating. The country is having daily power cuts and candles had been provided. However there were no matches or torches. We called the owner who seemed to have given the matter little thought. Our stay at Isola guesthouse was just outstanding. The property on Leisure Isle is so beautiful with it overseeing the spectacular Knysna lagoon. We were a group of friends travelling and the owner of the guesthouse, Marisa Rafffinetti upgraded us to the upstairs rooms free of additional charge. We very much enjoyed the fact that we could then share a lounge, coffee station and spacious terrace.||The rooms are tastefully furnished and everything is impeccable - The owner was just the most helpful and charming host.
