MAHE — Hotel in Hibiscus Coast Local Municipality

We had booked Unit 3 Mahe in Margate beginning of January with the family and we were very disappointed of the condition of the flat that we were not made aware of. The kitchen sink was dripping and they had put a bowl under the sink inside the cupboard so every time we had to wash the dishes, we had to empty the bowl underneath. Some of their bedroom door handles were missing. We even had our luggage locked up in one of the bedrooms due to the wind blowing and closing up the door. The beds in 2 of the bedrooms were in a very bad condition, they were wobbly and were sinking on the centre, The bunk bed was not stable for the kids. We struggled for hours trying to open the door. All the cleaning materials inside the flat especially the mop were stinking. Their kitchen utensils were old and full of rust, we had to go and buy our own. This actually showed that the flat is not taken good care of. During our stay I tried to be in contact with the Agent regarding all these problems and she never responded to my whatsapp. I even struggled getting them to refund me my breakage fee after we had checked out. I would never wish for anyone to book here It looks good but We had a terrible experience when we booked one the rooms with friends Matt were smelly and wet in one the the cupboard there was a unwashed lunch Box which I believe it was there for years while we amazed by that we discovered some plates in a Dishwasher Plus faulty Toilet and their Satellite Dish wasn't working None came to check on us if we were happy There's no Hospitality from these people they don't prepare for...

Very poor accomodation. Bedding was smelly, cutlery was different shapes and sizes and not enough to accomodate everyone. Would not recommend this place to anyone, coming from a luxurious home and to stay in such unhealthy conditions. I think the owner needs a wake up call because it seems he is only after the money.
