My family and I recently visited the Margate Beach Club and we were blown away by its stunning ocean views and beautiful setting.

The facilities were spotless, showcasing the team's attention to detail. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, with Florine, Precious, Lettie, Joyce, and the entire team going above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience.

Rita, rendered great housekeeping and kept everything spick and span throughout our visit. Under the leadership of the amazing Manager Wilmar, the team provided exceptional service that was both warm and welcoming. Wilmar was also accomodating to all of our requests, we appreciate her efforts.

The staff's dedication to their work was evident in every aspect of the club. I was impressed by the club's amenities and services. The beach club's proximity to the ocean made it ideal for swimming and sunbathing.

Although it was a busy holiday season in July ,with all the units booked out, the club wasnt crowded or noisy. Families were enjoying the mini golf course as late as 9 o clock, kids played in the playroom and enjoyed a safe and secure area which was monitored by cameras at the front desk.

Every staff member, including the gardeners always had a smile and a welcoming greeting. The porters who carried our luggage to and from the unit were also amazing.

We booked two units (Y58 and U05) Y58 had an immaculate interior with a beautiful heated pool on the deck. U05 was just as beautiful. The welcome drinks and snacks were a lovely touch. They also had a meet and greet with teas , coffees, juices and delicious snacks. The manager, Wilmar and her collegue and staff were also present. Jason another manager, also called on day 3 to check on us and our stay. Very efficient!!

Overall, Margate Beach Club exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable experience. With its beautiful setting and amazing staff, this beach club is a must-visit destination.

It is our 5th stay here and definetely not our last.

Well done to Wilmar and her team (Florine, Precious,...

I booked via Booking.com for a 4 night stay at this resort over the weekend of 05 August 2022.|Some positives: |the place is well kept, there’s a daily cleaning service and the reception area is always manned. The staff is also very friendly.|The resort is also right at the foot of the beach and guests have direct access to the beach via a private gate entrance.|Negatives: |the WiFi! The connection was not only unstable but it completely blocked me from streaming YouTube and Netflix. I SMSed the helpline (44929) to give details about my issue and unfortunately, no one ever got back to me. I ended up buying more data bundles from my phone in order to stream content on my tablet.|The fridge temperature! Since this is a self catering resort, I bought some fresh produce to store in the fridge (cucumbers, lettuce etc) but it got frozen because the fridge temperature was too low. I could not increase it because there’s a sign on the fridge door which explicitly prohibits this. |The checking out experience was awful and disappointing. I was asked to wait at reception whilst one of the cleaning staff members checked the unit for missing items. I was then told that the cleaning staff member said there was a hand towel missing. I asked how she was able to verify this because the towels were changed the day before during cleaning service and whilst I had stepped out. I was then informed that they would have to do a stock take and determine whether there was an error on their side. I found this to be bizarre. I was not given an inventory of items that were meant to be at the unit so how could I be sure how many items were meant to be where? I also felt that I was being treated with suspicion, which I did not...

Festive holiday place On the 3rd Jan 2025, as a couple, we travelled to Margate (Margate Beach Club) for a holiday, and it was not our first visit to this holiday resort. We celebrated our new year in this resort five years back (2019). Since we always visit Bizana, after every visit, we look for a holiday resort to spend the next 7 days. We then remembered our holiday with our family in 2019 and how good it was to be there, Our apartment overlooked the ocean on the second floor, has a patio, and we would sleep with unclosed doors . This time, we got a booking of a room on the ground floor and still sea view. We can easily access the resort amenities, and the room is opposite the pool, with immaculate garden and beautiful play area. The staff is friendly, welcoming, check in is easy and well explained (directions to parking, to the room, and how to access the room and road to the beach). Their room settings are great though 1 bathroom in 2 of the bedrooms is too small but the bedrooms are sizeble with great space and huge cupboards for both rooms. I always feel safe in the resort because the security is tight, and we can see them taking their rounds even at night and ensuring everything is in place.. The cleaning staff changes bedding every two days and keeps the rooms spectacular clean. Children and visitors mostly meet on their way to the beach, in the braai and play area. Everyone is just in a good and polite mood. Moods are high with discussions on where we are coming from, places of interest, and business operations. I can come back to Margate Beach Club every year if i could. My only disappointment is the size of the bathroom fridge, which is not functional, and the weather...

Very nice place for families as lots for children to do. They have a TV room and games room with some computer games and Lego for the children with a small and big pool and of course the beach which has a long very clean stretch of beach. The rooms are serviced daily. The hotel give cookies and coffee and tea each Monday and popcorn on Fridays. They have various sized units and some have jacuzzi options. The single room has a double bed with a desk and a drying rack for clothes. They offer a laundry service but charge per item. The beds are hard but they offer a soft mattress topping if needed. Each unit has a kitchenette with a two plate stove and a refrigerator with cutlery and crockery and towels with soap and toilet rolls supplied. Staff are both friendly and helpful. Safe and secure parking is supplied.

The accommodation on the cabana side is fine. Just a few things to take note of. In the 2 bedroom units the spare bathrooms shower is extremely tiny. Literally the size of 6 floor tiles. The rest of the unit is very well laid out. Please be aware that when coming from the undercover parking up to the units that the steps are VERY slippery when wet and no warning sign coming from the bottom up. Access to the beach is excellent. Staff is very friendly and on arrival they take your luggage to your unit. Reception is the best service we had. A note for smokers. There is no smoking not even on you own patio. Smoking zone is by under cover parking.

We had a wonderful and relaxed stay. The staff were super friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and large and well-equipped kitchen areas. Just wish there were aircons in the rooms and showers with better flowing water heads. Kids area is really nice and well maintained. The rooms and building is very clean. The swimming pool is really nice and very relaxing. A big plus is the direct access to the beach which makes it very convenient. Shops are close and easy accessible. A big thank you to Margate Beach Club staff for making our stay pleasurable and fun. See you again soon.
