Sea Breeze Shelly Beach — Hotel in Hibiscus Coast Local Municipality

My parents had been enjoying their annual vacation at Scottburgh (about an hour's drive from Shelly beach) since June, when my dad had to urgently be admitted to hospital with severe pneumonia on September, 2nd. He was transported by ambulance to Shelly Beach Hospital and admitted to High Care. We quickly had to arrange accommodation for my mother, as the daily commute between Scottburgh and Shelly beach would not be possible. I contacted Deon after 20:00 on a Saturday evening, to enquire about possible available accommodation for my mother.

He was very kind and eager to assist us, which was a huge relief after a stressful day. Everything was arranged and organized with minimal effort from our side and continuous feedback from Deon and Francois. They furthermore also kindly offered to take my mother to the hospital twice daily, during visiting hours, to see my dad. Knowing that my mom was safe, closeby and well looked after, definitely gave us peace of mind, aided in my dad's recovery and also contributed significantly to decreased stress for my mom, as she was able to see my dad daily, monitoring his recovery, while still being able to relax in the neat and beautiful unit she was occupying. She could also go for walks on the beach and even visit the Mall, which is in close proximity to Sea Breeze, in between visiting hours.

As family, we are grateful to both Deon and Francois for their kindness, compassion and hospitality during this period. My father has since been discharged and is recovering back in Scottburgh. They will be returning to Gauteng shortly.

When one books a holiday for your family there are valuable things to consider.

Price needs to be reasonable. Is the place safe and secure area for you family especially when you have a little one. Are the owners or staff friendly and helpful.

When making my booking for our holiday you ticked all the boxes.

However upon our arrival you ticked these boxes in a "double whammy" and it was over and above our expectations.

Your prices are reasonable please always keep it this way. It is super safe, fully equipped with what we needed, our facilities were always clean, it was safe and child friendly. It was far over my expectations coz a photo can say a few things however the experience is a different thing all together. Francois and Deon the reception was fantastic, your friendliness and the fact that you were easy to approach and help were help was needed you definitely are the heart of the place.

You are located in a fantastic area close to everything one needs. Walking distance shops and to the beach.

My family and myself enjoyed ourselves and are well rested. And this we thank you for.

Your place is fantastic and your services are exceptional something one doesn't always find easily.

You will definitely see more of he Stoddart family and the rest of our family and friends when we plan to go to that side of the world.

I came to this place after I was booked in at almost immediate notice, from family that tried to assist after I got kicked out of my place of residence. The two gentlemen Francois and Deon gave me such a warm welcome that I came close to tears. The place was so neat and tidy and you could immediately feel at home once you walk into the property. The facilities were neat, adequate and above and beyond what a person could expect from a guesthouse. A big thank you to Deon and Francois for their hospitality and welcome gave me an absolute pleasure to have to meet them and stay in their one room.
