LLZZ Boutique Lodge — Hotel in King Sabata Dalindyebo Local Municipality

Despite a huge number of quality guesthouses in Mthatha this guesthouse is horrible, and charges premium price. ||Firstly, as you enter you will notice that there is no designated car parking, the cars park in the lawn. There is no electricity fence neither is security bars in the doors despite high levels of crime. ||The rooms are dirty!! And the garages were converted to become the guest rooms, they look unfinished with poor workmanship. In the bathroom there is an electrical switch which becomes wet with the shower steam. The shower is dirtiest, with uneven floor tiles. The tiling seem to have been installed by amateurs. ||I will never return to this dump, this guesthouse is similar to Kinshasa standard of accommodation!!!||The bed was comfortable though even thought there wasn't a...

They overbooked accommodation. They ended up moving us to another BnB up the street which had extremely firm beds and had rain coming into the bedrooms at night. Anyway, when they moved us back it was more horrors for us. The room they offered my colleague was quite dingy she ended up asking to be moved to another. In the morning, her water was ice cold she had to shower in my room. The next morning my water and my other colleague's was ice cold. They then accused my colleague of stealing an iron and ironing board. When we called them to ask what was going on, they were rude and dropped the call mid-conversation. They are extremely rude. The place shouldn't be charging that much for such shoddy facilities. Do not book here. I am annoyed that the establishment got money for the treatment...

Despite booking in advance, and confirming our rooms on the day of arrival, our rooms were given away later in the evening. We arrived late and tired and were met by a half-asleep helper in her pyjamas and told that our rooms were no longer available and that other accommodation will be provided. This is NOT a boutique hotel, it is dirty, run down and staff are unprofessional. ||||After arguing with the staff, we realised we were not getting anywhere and agreed to be moved to another 'guesthouse' down the road. Another dirty, smelly house called Innoview where the 'owner/helper' had just gotten out of the bed they were to offer us.||||Please do not book accommodation here!
