Good day,
Honesty is key for anyone who is open to it. Constructive criticism is always good for someone who is willing to change.
Our experience was not appealing as advertised.
Rooms are not clean and they are 3 star self catering option. They do not offer basic standards for a 3 star hotel.
No sugar, salt or anything in the rooms even though it is self catering, by law they should offer. You are expected to buy from the supermarket across.
The room that was offered to us was for family and it was my husband and I. They room was way to big for us. Bedding was not clean and old duvet are placed in the rooms.
No identification meaning, staff do not have names tags and not wearing any uniform but wearing their own clothes. Staff knocked the door so rough and woke us up at 10:00 while sleeping. They claim that they knock off at 11:00 therefore we must wake up early considering that we were on holiday and not forced to be woken up that early. I found it very rude and inconsiderate for guests that are on holiday.
Their activities that were included in our booking were amazing, just that they can be let down by accommodation. They need to up their game and obey the 3 star standard rule for accommodation.
Don’t cut corners, it will leave a bad reputation and it’s hard to come back from it.
Overall, they need to improve...
Read moreA decent self-catering accommodation, with commendable value for money. Clever photography makes the pool seem larger than it really is, but the swimming was still enjoyable. The beds are something to look out for, as in our unit, the double bed was comfortably soft, but in the other room, the two single beds were so hard as to be comparable to sleeping on the floor. The air conditioning was absolutely pathetic and left us trying to sleep in sweltering heat. When choosing rooms to stay in, be sure to consider that the rooms on the ground floor have access to a small outdoor area, but not much can be said about their view, unless you're a wall enthusiast. I would definitely recommend reserving an upper floor unit, especially considering the prices are the same. Unfortunately, the units looking onto the parking lot don't offer much else to view. The best units are those with a balcony looking onto the mountain. The units at the end of the upstairs hallway are best for privacy, but you had better be a heavy sleeper, as the JoJo tanks and A/C units (not sure why they're so loud considering the non-existent temperature control inside) are very loud outside the window. All in all, a very pleasant accommodation for...
Read moreBeing in the hotel industry myself I tend to look with a very critical eye. The apartments were good but not too clean . . . . there is a lot of wasted space. The lounge furniture in the 2 rooms we occupied were very tired and need to be replaced. They are fake leather and in the South African heat they do not offer comfortable seating. The aircon in one unit - albeit supposedly brand new - was not working and notwithstanding several requests, nothing was done about it, except that staff kept coming to check and then saying "close the windows then it will work". We kept telling them that the windows were open BECAUSE the aircon did not work. The staff are also not very helpful and almost seemed uninterested and bored . . . . the TV's also are very small for the size...
