Lesego Guest-House — Hotel in Madibeng Local Municipality

This guesthouse was awful! Our room was tiny, with a tinier bathroom (apparently a "deluxe room"). The walls are paper-thin, and you can hear everyone talking in the passage. The blanket on the bed was filthy and had a large cigarette burn in it. There was a towel from a pvs guest still in the bathroom (they at least gave us fresh towels). There was no plug in the basin. There was no soap and when we requested soap we were told their soap order "hadn't yet arrived"!!! There was no coffee or milk available in the room. Just tea and sugar. ||||The wifi was shocking and we couldn't use it for more than a minute. There were no batteries in the tv remote and we had to request them!! The lights from the pool area shone right through the curtains and we battled to sleep, along with the continued hooting from cars waiting to come in through the access gate (last one at about 2.20am). ||||Everything in the room felt like it was hanging on by a thread. The door handle was loose. The soap holder in the shower was loose. The bathroom door was rickety. The bathroom window latch was loose....

From the moment we arrived, the manager's warm welcome was incredible. His humility and warmth from a young man caught my attention. On the 4th which was my birthday the Lesego Guest House management arranged a morning surprise with champagne and singing which was just a cherry on top as I did not expect it. Jacuzzi in the evening was just fantastic. When we went for the lake, Bright and the owner of Lesego arranged transport for us V Class ride to go back so I could get my massage which was arranged in my room. This place is not worth the price they charge. It's not in a good condition. We got there late on Saturday to find other guest in Lapa drinking and making noise so we couldn't sleep. Then in the morning (27 October 2019) around 6/7am the same guests were awake and making noise as if they were alone there. When I went to the poll with a towel from the guest house, one of the staff members came and told me it's not allowed YET left other guests making noise with loud music and screaming.
