Kassaboera Lodge Hartbeespoort — Hotel in Madibeng Local Municipality

I spent 2 nights at this place was given the Big room (king size bed). I still thought it was a small room when I entered as I thought it was small I think this place is not for the younger folk If you like quite then this is the place

pros Good breakfast pool is nice and refreshing owner and staff are help full and friendly place was clean and well looked after Basic DSTV package Room gets cleaned every day Good security Car ports for the car Central to all the tourist attractions and resturants Clean bedding and towels Nice view inside and outside the place TV,safe and bar fridge in the room

cons cannot swim after 10pm King size bed was 2 mattresses put together so sleeping in the middle is awkward could hear the people in the room next to me talking at about 4:30 am there was dog barking which woke me up the toilet light switch is not in a user-friendly place no visitors allowed no backup generator if there is a power failure no refunds for nights if you must cutt your stay short the one light was not working in my room Aircon was not adequate for the room as you could only feel the breeze slightly when on the bed No extractor fan in the toilet no tv guide and tv channels list for the TV they are not responsible for any loss to Property, etc...

Kassaboera Lodge is lovely and cosy. They offer a very intimate experience where each room has their own little setting of patio chars outside the rooms so guests can enjoy the outside without having to share the space with other guests. The turns and curves add to the privacy instead on one long straight line of rooms all opening to the same direction. They have a pool just bug enough to swim with friends and family but not too big so it feels a bit like you are having a swim at your own home. They personal touch and attention they pay to the breakfast experience is lovely. It is semi buffet but they ask you for your own special requirements. There are different breakfast times so you don't have all the guests all eating at once which I preferred. The rooms are lovely, very homely yet fancy. The place was well worth the money. This is the only placed I stayed with for the last five years on my annual visits to Brits. Excellent place...
