Lagoon Beach Hotel Apartments — Hotel in Metro

We took a short trip to CT and we booked an apartment for our stay. This is a 2 bedroom apartment with an en-suite, a shower, open plan kitchen , lounge and dining room. There is a panoramic balcony that opens up to a spectacular view of the ocean and the lagoon. The kitchen was fully functional and was equipped with a washer, dryer, basic appliances, fridge, stove , coffee maker , cutlery and crockery. The rooms are spacious and have a sea facing view! Our apartment had a piano and a day bed so it was very relaxing. We ordered room service and the meals are from a condensed version of the restaurant menu. Food did take over 50 minutes to come and there was much confusion with some items not even being delivered because it was out of stock but we weren’t informed of this so we opted to eat out on the other nights because room service was not efficient or convenient. We paid an extra fee to have breakfast at the hotel restaurant (Au Bleu) and it is buffet style. They are also open for lunch and dinner. The apartments have a few levels of parking available that leads to the foyer of the apartments. We encountered a rather rude, unfriendly and unhelpful staff member named Cornelius who spoke to us rather condescendingly when we enquired about the elevators that didn’t seem to be working. Bear in king, upon arrival, the elevators were not working then the following morning, it was working so in the evening, we approached the elevator and the doors did not seem to be opening when we pressed the button so we simply asked him if the elevator was working and he responded abruptly with “press the button” , we were on holiday but we took our brains with sooooo!! The doors finally opened and we were rather taken aback by his demeanor and attitude!! He never smiled, greeted or interacted with the guests so we simply ignored him over the next few days. He gives off the appearance of having an air about himself and this is certainly not a good look for the beautiful lagoon beach apartments!! The hotel has an in-site spa, booking desk for tours, bikes for hire, salon, bar and restaurants. The female staff at the hotel restaurant ie. waitresses, front of desk, cooks at the egg station, etc. at breakfast were amazing and they were such a pleasure to interact with at the start of the day!! Philip the head chef was also so accommodating and super friendly and helpful!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we look forward to spending some time...
