Braeview Guest House — Hotel in Overstrand Local Municipality

The most deceiving gallery ever! Felt very intimidated by the owners and how we were misinformed of their rules and only told about the rules when we got to the house! Old furniture with no warm running water, one has to request the water in order to get it and the supply of it is cut at random times! Comments made by the owners "you were the worst bunch I have ever recived this year and from now on I will make sure to never book to people like you" us being black people I assumed because the woman never wanted to get in detail about what she meant with that. We were given no choice but to leave because we went out drinking and came back to sleep and we were supposed to come back early and sleep quietly, we are not kids and we payed for the entire house. When we arrived, no introduction was made, and where to find things and when we left we were accused of stealling one pot from a set of three, I mean if we liked the pots why would we take one and we had to have the cleaning lady come to our rescue to say where the 3rd pot was! We stayed in the sunbird cottage with 4adults and child, last week of March.||Very quiet and save surroundings. You can indeed hear at times the waves and smell the sea. Just Beautiful. Close to a mall (4min drive) and Hermanus tourist centre is down the road.||You have the Cliff path around the corner for a nice walk. A rough solid path with benches on ever corner. Within 35min walk you are in Hermanus. Along the way there is a stunning tidal pool and breathtaking views. ||||The airBnB itself has a Beautiful garden with a solid wooden table and plastic chairs where you can have breakfast and a lekker braai. ||You have the ground floor to yourself with enough space for 6 people. ||Mattresses were good and bathrooms big and everything was clean.||Relatively small, but big enough flatscreen tv with a good enough selection of DSTV.||Internet was fast and easy to access with multiple devices.||||The house itself is on the cold side which is perfect in summer and the warm days.||Same witch the garden as it is almost the whole day in the shade.||||We really enjoyed the stay and would definitely...

i have never seen such racist old couple, they think this is the old days where white people had it all. when i asked the owner regarding the safety of our cars that were parked out side, while their cars are nicely parked in a garage...they told us that there are black people that runs around stealing and they will not take any responsibility if something happened to our cars..i felt like im in primary school, as this old man was always on our faces and was very rude as well. There are cockroaches in the rooms..we even took a pictures. the house does not look like what you see in the pics...its an old house that looks terrible. a beach is far away unlike what we see in these pics. i would not recommend anyone to go there its a terrible place to go to...THESE PEOPLE ARE TOO OLD AND...
