Town Lodge Roodepoort — Hotel in Roodepoort

From the check in to the day we left, it was one thing after the other.||1. The team that was checking us in was not consistent, the one half was not willing to go the extra mile to solve our request (being moved from a 2 single bed, room to a double bed, room) and the other half made promises that they could not keep (said that we would be moved the following day, without checking for availability first).||2. My colleague asked for the iron numerous times over the period of our stay, and it NEVER came, she had to go get it herself.||3. We ordered room service, and the food came after an hour plus, AFTER i made an enquiry about my order, which was when they were only assembling it. If I had an option to give 100 stars I would definitely do so, what a lovely stay at Town Lodge rooderport. From the booking to, check in and check out the service was out of this world, warm welcome, high level of professionalism from the security, receptionist. Food was super delicious although we have to wait a bit longer for our lunch because we ordered late,so we can't put the blame to the hotel staff it was our fault. The restaurant offers absolutely terrible service. The staff behave as though bringing your order is an inconvenience to them. The food takes more than 2 hours to come to you and the staff are constantly getting the orders wrong. They walk around with notepads and yet they never write orders down then they proceed to get them wrong. You have to ask multiple waiters, multiple times before you can get something that you ordered. I will not waste...
