Ocean House — Hotel in Saldanha Bay Local Municipality

This place is suitable for backpackers even though we were told they used to be, but no longer but suitable for families. However 2 adults in a tiny room, 2 single beds with 1 very soft pillow each & 1 towel each. no extra blankets. The room is very basic & tiny built in dresser & chair not suitable for adults. communal kitchen & lounge. My teens used rolled up towels underneath their pillows. The welcome was show us the room & explain keys. I assumed the kitchen was communal & had to ask. This is an affordable and comfortable backpacker style accommodation with a communal lounge and kitchen. Each room has a private bathroom with various beds(double, singles and bunk beds). Well worth a visit if you are staying in Langebaan. The hosts are lovely people and are always willing to handle requests. They also do booking for longer stays.
