Montmartre Chalets — Hotel in Stellenbosch Local Municipality

This incredible gem nestled in the mountains overlooking the stunning Franschhoek Valley offers all that a traveller can desire. Well appointed (next to Haute Cabriere) the 4x 2 bedroom chalets offer everything wanted and needed for either a short or longer stay. |Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen with all mod cons and a cosy lounge with aircon for hot days, and a wood burner fireplace for misty cold nights. The patio with Webber Braai overlooks a little dam (bonus was the mommy duck with ducklings!) and takes in the incredible mountain and village views. Will definitely highly recommend as either a springboard to all the incredible offerings in the village (wine, food, markets, shops - did I say wine..) or simply an amazing place to just simply relax and enjoy the environment. Hope to return in the not too distant future! (Hats off to the host Loma and owners for superbly restoring the venue after it was destroyed by natural disaster...

We found these chalets quite by chance after a last minute decision to spend New Year’s Eve In Franschoek and what a find they were! We stayed in the Royal Chalet which comfortably housed 4 adults plus 1 child for whom an extra bed was supplied. The accommodation was clean and extremely comfortable and as for the breakfast delivered to us personally by the owner - words fail me! It was more than plentiful and quite delicious ! We had an amazing stay at MountMartre! The host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.
