Our group of 18 family members, aged from 4 to 90 had an amazing weekend stay at Glen Eden Lodge. We filled all the beds there, which was great, as we had the venue to ourselves the whole time. The way the accommodation is arranged in a C-shape around a lovely courtyard made the place feel like a large home; and that is how we felt during our stay. The suites are wonderfully appointed, very welcoming and comfortable. The beds were amazing and felt so luxurious. Our king size sleigh bed felt like a piece of heaven. On all fronts, all our needs were met, with our hosts Mark and Brandon being most attentive and super friendly. Between the scenic surroundings outside and various homely indoor spaces, we had plenty of room to socialise in and have fun. We all loved our stay and wished it was longer. A slice of heaven and a spiritual space steeped in fascinating history. A place where you are nurtured and are able to instantly destress. The sumptuous newly renovated rooms, magnificent beds and linen sent me to sleep immediately. Stayed in the cottage which is comprised of 3 rooms and sleeps 6 overlooking the garden and rolling hills beyond. The host is entertaining, fabulous and flexible going the extra mile. Nothing is too much to ask. Food was delicious breakfasting under the trees to the bird sounds of "Piet my vrou" together with the perfumed aromas of the gorgeous garden. The prices are reasonable.
