The staff get 4.5/5. Very professional and very knowledgeable. I had a stain on my towel and they were so understating and accommodating when they replaced it and even apologized.
The room is a bit small for tall people but it’s what you would expect for Asia. Maybe a little more roomy than a Japanese room. 3/5
Cleanliness is very important to me. The beds looked and felt 100% brand new clean which was very pleasing. The carpet looked really old and I didn’t step on it without slippers. The shower unfortunately doesn’t look like it’s ever been scrubbed which bothers me a lot and our bathroom door didn’t close at all so I have to give it a 2/5
I didn’t appreciate that the bed only has one giant comforter/duvet because it was too hot so I could only cover my legs below my knees. Others were too hot but couldn’t take the cover off otherwise they would be too cold. Wish there was a sheet and two blankets instead for better temperature control
Also strange or not for Korea, I’m not sure, but there was no hand soap in the bathroom at the sink 🧐🧐🧐
I stayed it in again on our way home and the time they did boot provide slippers or toothbrushes or any of that regular bedtime stuff. The shower also was clogged and we had to switch rooms after our flight was delayed by several hours so we were soooooo done, and arrived at the hotel at 1AM when it was originally supposed to be 5pm ish. ! So very bad timing to have such horrible rooms. Also felt it was not so clean as the first time. Inconsistent is what this hotel is
Worst part is you can’t charge your devices without renting from front desk. I have to charge my phone, portable battery, headphones and Nintendo switch and now I can’t charge any of them. (ALSO each room only has 2 plugs so I wouldn’t have been able to charge them all anyway)
Overall 3/5 experience

Read moreI would stay here again during a long layover!
We landed in Incheon around 5:30am, walked around the transit lounge in the hotel but there were no open (comfortable) spots. So we saw the transit hotel and decided to book a room. The staff were friendly and professional. The booking was really easy and we got a room right away. I don’t know if it was because of what time we had arrived or if it’s usually like that. Not sure if we should book online next time to guarantee a room.
They told us it was $147 USD for a flat 12hr rate. We only needed the room for about 9hrs but we were satisfied with the price. After tax it costed $162 USD. Totally worth it!
The rooms were clean and modern. The bathroom was cute and it had a shower with, I swear, the strongest water pressure I have ever experienced!!! Haha I had to turn it down!!
The location was great, right next to our gate and close to the “food court.”
It was relatively quiet, you can hear them cleaning in other rooms or sometimes people talking. But it’s better than trying to nap in an open space! We napped maybe 3 times during our stay. Very comfortable!
Our 10.5hr layover did not feel like one at all! We will definitely be staying here again when we fly through this airport again!
Only quick comments for improvement for this place was the floor molding was missing so it looked like they had taken it off and was in the process of replacing it. Just a bit of an eyesore for the room. Also in the bathroom we saw a couple of black hairs in the sink and shower. I was hoping it from the person who cleaned it because we could smell the cleaning products and not from the person who stayed...
Read moreI checked into the Incheon Airport Transit Hotel on March 10 for a one-night stay after a hectic and exhausting journey. I had just missed my connecting flight following a 15-hour flight from JFK to ICN, and I desperately needed a place to rest and shower. The hotel provided exactly what I needed—a quiet and comfortable space to recharge. The room was small but sufficient, and the shower was clean and refreshing.
However, what truly made my experience unforgettable was the exceptional kindness of the staff. When I checked out, I was still recovering from exhaustion and didn’t realize that I had left my backup phone behind. It wasn’t until I had boarded my next flight in Terminal 1—a completely different terminal—that I noticed it was missing.
Then, something incredible happened. A hotel staff member appeared on my plane, holding my phone. I was absolutely stunned. I hadn’t even had the chance to call or ask for help yet, but she had already tracked me down and personally brought it to me. It felt almost like a miracle.
I regret that I didn’t get her name, but she was wearing a suit and a mask (and had impeccable eyeliner!). If she ever reads this—thank you from the bottom of my heart. This phone holds irreplaceable photos and messages from my late father, who passed away two years ago, and I cannot express how much it meant to have it returned.
The level of care, dedication, and genuine kindness shown by this staff member went far beyond my expectations. I will forever be grateful, and I highly recommend this hotel—not just for the convenience, but for the amazing people...
