My family and my in-laws family stayed there for a week. We booked four rooms during our stay.||||Getting there: From Jeju International Airport, the ride to the hotel took almost an hour with half the roads in on interstate freeway and the other half in mostly two-lane country roads with an insane amount of humps about everything 30 meters.||||First, of all, I cannot call this a resort at all. Please read further.||||Upon arriving the hotel, there reviews here had me worried about staying there. But, we've made decision to stick with this place.||||Once arrived to the lobby, the place seems to be large in some ways, because of the three large building, but small since everything has be a bit compact. The lobby seems to be decent and has been renovated. The lobby was a bit warm, since we arrived from Seoul, which was over 100-degree F.||||After checking in, we received our keys. Yes, you hear this correctly, an actual key and not a key card. I cannot remember that last time that I have ever used an actual key to get into my hotel room. Our rooms were in Building 1 on the third floor. I won't give the room numbers. The elevator looked kind of new then you see what they did. They install this down brown laminate on this elevator. I mean everything.||||Once we arrived to the third floor, then the reality just hit us. The smell of the hallway, just hits everybody by surprise. I just cannot describe it. The stench just hits you. By the end of our stay, everyone just sorta got used to the smell. The smell gets worse when the weather gets hotter. The carpeting on this hallway is way past their uses. The edge trim of these carpet was probably a light grey color, but now, they looked somewhat orange. I didn't even bother to take photos of it, because it was pretty disgusting.||||Each hotel rooms had metal doors and more of them are partly rusted. Once we get to our room, the door locks bearly worked and sometimes it took several tries to get the door open. Once we got into the room, we realized the condition and the shape of the rooms. They were not in the best shape. Pretty much way past it's usefulness. The wallpapers were pretty much curled up. The wall and ceiling had a bunch of screw holes, probably from all of the different fixtures that were replaced. We were treated with the special view of the South Korean Naval Base dock yard. Every other day we would hear the horns from the frigates that are being towed out of the dock at around 6am/7am.||||Ah the amenities! The rooms had a small kitchenette. The hotel supplied you with a towel, a hand towel. Not a real bath towel. The The bath tub and toilet bowl area were pretty tight in space. The way they've constructed the drainage is odd. The drain for the tub, the bathroom floor, toilet, bathroom sink, and kitchen sink are on the the same pipe. Because, at times, when I was draining the bathtub, you hear the back flow from all the drains. You get two bedrooms, one with an actual bed with mattress, which I never tried to sleep on. The other bedroom is your plain room where you can sleep on the floor, your typical korean style rooms. My family slept the entire week in this room and it was quite comfortable.||||The swimming pool does not include as part of the hotel. You have to pay a separate 8,000 Korean Won per person. The rules for the pool is that adults need to wear a swimming cap or wear you regular baseball caps. Once you've paid your fee, the hotel will give a wrist bad that you have to wear the entire time that you are at the pool. There is an attendant who WILL check that. The other rule about the pool is that there is a rest period, which is about 10 minute.||||The weird thing about this place is that I did not see a single groundskeeper on site, meaning I did not see a single person who took care of the lawn or the plants on the ground. At the back of the hotel, there is this creek that goes out to the ocean and water was pleasantly cold. That was nice.||||We took advantage of the rental car, which is nice, since there isn't anything really close, either any restaurants or supermarket within walking distance. There are restaurants and supermarkets with 5-10 minutes drive from the hotel. The hotel also has a convenience store onsite, a CU store. The store hours was odd. The signs says it opens from 7am to midninght, but the store also closed for 30 minutes from 4pm to 4:30pm.||||For breakfast, there is an onsite restaurant that has a buffet. It was decent and offers your regular korean and western foods.||||The only bright spot of this hotel are the people who works there. They do work very hard and very friendly. The receptionists, pool staff, and restaurant staff are very young, maybe college students working on their hospitality degrees or something. The cleaning staff are mostly older Korean ladies. I noticed that they have some mainland Chinese cleaning staff, the ones who changes the bed linens. The only reason I said that is because I overheard them speaking in mandarin with a mainland Chinese accents.||||It's really hard to give a positive review, when the hard product...
