I stayed Hotel Lava on October 2012.||||Location: ||Located in Gangnam district. Walking distance (10 minutes to nearest Metro station). It cost us USD70 from ICN Airport to the hotel, partial reason of expensive was due to my traveling was 8am, the traffic was jam due to many peoples rush for work.||||Good due to walking distance for convenience shop / supermarket / small restaurant / bistro and bakery. ||||You never get worry will hungry if you stay in Hotel Lava. ||||Check in: Very fast. We just pass our booking confirmation and passport; the staff just passes me the key immediately, less than 5 minutes for the whole process.||||Room: ||Well maintained, good and romantic.|| ||Wooden floor, the bedding for my room is 1 queen size bed and 1 single bed.||||The lighting make the room feels romantic. ||||Big LED TV, mini fridge (drinks are complimentary and replenish daily basis), 1 set personal computer, very good speaker for music from TV or your own USB. ||||Bathroom: ||Spacious and clean. No bathtub but rain shower in the shower area.|| ||Water pressure consider good with sufficient hot water. ||||Besides shampoo and shower gel, also provide hair gel, face lotion and moisturizer for Male & Female. ||||Check Out: Very fast.||||||Others:||There are many good small restaurant / bistro in nearby hotel, ||the taste is good worth trying. ||||There is an convenient shop opposite of the hotel, the pricing is cheaper than the store in opposite left corner. ||||There is a supermarket nearby (walking distance 8 minutes) open until late, you can get fruits or last minute souvenir (like seaweed) from there, always do the promotion. ||||In addition you can try the buns in “Paris...

Stayed here for two nights before we headed to Indonesia from the US. Hotel was clean and rooms were large and comfortable. We arrived into the country very early in the morning and got to the hotel early about 8am and they let us check in early which was nice. ||The biggest problem we had with the hotel was with the location. We thought when we booked it that it was closer to Gangnam and also as a tourist we were farther away from the sights and sounds of Seoul. The direct area around the hotel was rather dead and not much happening.
