Absolutely happy with my stay in this hotel! Really great value for what I paid! Staff were as helpful as they could be. Went out of their way to help me order food and get taxis.
Rooms are small so if you have suitcases, I'm not so sure that they would fit. They're not really the type where you can go "oh let's hang out in my room" with your friends. For me, its really just a place to crash and take a shower albeit that it's quite nice, clean and comforting to come home to.
The TV was nice but had no casting (Airplay etc.) not a dealbreaker but would have been nice!
The rooftop bar was closed, too bad!
Shower / bathroom was nice as well. They have those machine type bidets which was quite cool. Water pressure and heat were excellent
There was a fridge smartly tucked in one of the drawers, i didn't realize it until my last day.
The hallways smell good. I dont know why thats a thing but i was always looking forward to my walk from my room to the elevator cause the hallways smelled good lol.
The trip that accompanied my stay here required me to be out of the hotel room most of the time so I really went home just to sleep and crash. During those times, I had absolute comfort and excitement that I was coming home to this place.
For me the location was awesome. It was walking distance to where I needed to be and there were convenience stores and coffee shops everywhere (well, i guess you can say this about...
Read moreWe had a pleasant experience staying at Hotel Crescendo. We stayed for 10 days in April/May. We got the room with two beds (twin size). The rooms are definitely smaller than U.S rooms but rooms enough for us. To save space, we placed the smaller luggage's under the bed. The rooms comes with hangers (no closet), 2 robes, a bidet, a safe that is under the bed, a mini fridge, a kettle and an extension chord that has u.s compatible outlets to charge your phone. The laundry room is on the second floor on the left side of the elevator. We got our room cleaned every day. Just press the button next to the key card holder before you leave the room. To turn on the lights and ac /heater, you must leave your key card inserted, or else everything turns off. Customer service was great and the front desk speaks English. The only thing we didn't really like was brunch, but there are many restourants around and the convenience store (CU ) as well as 7/11 is at walking distance across the street and there is a mc donalds next to the hotel. The COEX mall is also at a walking distance. Naver says it's a 15 min walk but we would always walk it in 10 min, very close! The train station is also very close...
Read moreLobby is small , old , and messy. The lighting is dark . The reception girl who helped me check in and out was sweet and friendly. Nice room with a great view. The breakfast was disappointing and not as good as they advertised on the website. Very limited choices, very cheap stuff served on the table. No bacon, no smoked salmon, no sausage, no wheat bread…Croissant was not crispy ( the only choice for pastry ) , it has been cut into 2 half to serve the guests. deep fried noddle n deep fried rice are oily . The breakfast close at 9:30am , the first 2 days I went before 9am , many things only have leftover on the table ( fruits, salad - dry already , pumpkin salad, fried noddle ) the waiter seems had no intention to replenish . Definitely not worth to pay the breakfast here . The only thing for breakfast I have to say was the coffee they...
